Videos can only be displayed
when stationary.

- " V i d e o p a r a m e t e r s " t o s e t t h e d i s p l a y f o r m a t , t h e b r i g h t n e s s ,
the contrast and the colours.
Press the "MODE" or "DARK"

ing of the video.
Press the "SOURCE" button
several times in succession to
select an audio source other than
that of the video.
Select the line "Duration of the

W h e n t h e a i r l o w c o n t r o l i s i n p o s i - tion 0 (deactivation of the system),
t e m p e r a t u r e r e l a t e d c o m f o r t i s n o
l o n g e r g u a r a n t e e d b u t a s l i g h t l o w
of air, due to the movement of the
vehicle, can still be felt.
For even air distribution, take care
n o t t o o b s t r u c t t h e e x t e r i o r a i r i n -
t a k e g r i l l e a t t h e b a s e o f t h e w i n d -
screen, the vents, the air outlets
under the front seats and the air
e x t r a c t o r l o c a t e d b e h i n d t h e l a p s
in the boot.
C h e c k t h a t t h e p a s s e n g e r c o m - p a r t m e n t i l t e r i s i n g o o d c o n d i -
t i o n . H a v e t h e i l t e r s r e p l a c e d
regularly. If you drive in a dusty
e n v i r o n m e n t , c h a n g e t h e m t w i c e
as often.

I t i s p o s s i b l e t o s t o p d e m i s t i n g b e -
f o r e i t i s s w i t c h e d o f f a u t o m a t i c a l l y b y
p r e s s i n g t h e b u t t o n a g a i n . I n c e r t a i n c a s e s o f p a r t i c u -
l a r l y a r d u o u s u s e ( t o w i n g t h e
m a x i m u m l o a d o n a s t e e p
g r a d i e n t i n h i g h t e m p e r a -

In order for the air conditioning to be
f u l l y e f f e c t i v e , t h e w i n d o w s m u s t b e
closed.
The air conditioning system does not

any danger to the ozone layer.
O p e r a t e t h e a i r c o n d i t i o n i n g s y s t e m
f o r 5 t o 1 0 m i n u t e s , o n c e o r t w i c e a
m o n t h , t o k e e p i t i n p e r f e c t w o r k i n g
order.
T h e w a t e r p r o d u c e d b y t h e a i r c o n -
ditioning condensation is discharged
t h r o u g h a n o p e n i n g p r o v i d e d f o r t h i s
p u r p o s e . T h e r e f o r e , a p u d d l e o f w a -
ter may form underneath the vehicle
w h e n s t a t i o n a r y .
I n o r d e r t o e n s u r e t h a t t h e a i r c o n d i -
t i o n i n g s y s t e m o p e r a t e s c o r r e c t l y , r e g -
ular checks are also recommended.
I f t h e s y s t e m d o e s n o t p r o d u c e c o l d a i r ,
do not use it and contact a PEUGEOT
dealer.
5. Air intake/Air recirculation
Pressing button 5 p e r m i t s
recirculation of the interior
a i r . T h i s i s i n d i c a t e d b y i l -
lumination of the indicator
light.

The interior air recirculation enables

p a r t m e n t f r o m e x t e r i o r o d o u r s a n d
smoke.
The outside air intake enables you to
p r e v e n t a n d e l i m i n a t e m i s t i n g o f t h e
w i n d s c r e e n a n d s i d e w i n d o w s .
U s e d s i m u l t a n e o u s l y w i t h t h e a i r c o n -
ditioning, air recirculation enables
p e r f o r m a n c e t o b e i m p r o v e d .
U s e d i n a h u m i d c l i m a t e , a i r r e c i r -
culation may result in misting of the
w i n d o w s .

degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Turn control 2 or 3 to the left or to
t h e r i g h t r e s p e c t i v e l y t o d e c r e a s e o r
increase this value.
A setting around the value 21 p r o -
v i d e s o p t i m u m c o m f o r t . H o w e v e r , d e -
p e n d i n g o n y o u r r e q u i r e m e n t s , a s e t -
t i n g b e t w e e n 1 8 a n d 2 4 i s n o r m a l . F o r o p t i m u m c o m f o r t , y o u a r e a d -
v i s e d t o a v o i d a l e f t / r i g h t s e t t i n g d i f -
ference of more than 3.

that you have chosen. This system is
