An incorrect waveband is selected. Press the BAND AST button to return to the w a v e b a n d ( A M , F M 1 , F M 2 , F M A S T ) o n w h i c h t h e stations are stored.
T h e t r a f fi c a n n o u n c e m e n t ( T A ) i s d i s p l a y e d . I d o n o t r e c e i v e a n y t r a f fi c information.

The quality of reception of the radio station l i s t e n e d t o g r a d u a l l y deteriorates or the stored stations do not function (no s o u n d , 8 7 . 5 M h z i s d i s p l a y e d . . . ) .
The vehicle is too far from the transmitter used b y the station listened to or t h e r e i s n o t r a n s m i t t e r i n t h e g e o g r a p h i c a l a r e a t h r o u g h w h i c h t h e v e h i c l e i s t r a v e l l i n g .

Activate the RDS function to enable the system to check whether there is a more powerful t r a n s m i t t e r i n t h e g e o g r a p h i c a l a r e a .
This phenomenon is normal and does not indicate a failure of the audio equipment.
Have the aerial checked by a PEUGEOT dealer.
Sound cut-outs of 1 to 2 seconds in radio mode.

W i t h t h e e n g i n e o f f , the audio equipment switches off after a few minutes of use.

The switch-off is normal: the audio equipment switches to economy mode a n d s w i t c h e s o f f t o p r e v e n t d i s c h a r g i n g o f t h e v e h i c l e ' s b a t t e r y .
S t a r t t h e v e h i c l e ' s e n g i n e t o i n c r e a s e t h e b a t t e r y c h a r g e .
T h e m e s s a g e " t h e a u d i o system is overheated" appears on the display.
Switch the audio system off for a few minutes to allow the system to cool. I n o r d e r t o p r o t e c t t h e i n s t a l l a t i o n i f t h e s u r r o u n d i n g t e m p e r a t u r e i s t o o h i g h , the audio equipment switches to an automatic therma l protection mode l e a d i n g t o a r e d u c t i o n o f t h e v o l u m e o r s t o p p i n g o f t h e p l a y i n g o f t h e C D .

W a i t u n t i l t h e t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n i s b e i n g r e c e i v e d c o r r e c t l y ( d i s p l a y i n g o f t h e t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n s y m b o l s o n t h e m a p ) .
I n c e r t a i n c o u n t r i e s , o n l y m a j o r r o u t e s ( m o t o r w a y s , . . . ) a r e l i s t e d f o r t h e t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n .
The time taken to calculate a route sometimes seems l o n g e r t h a n u s u a l .
This phenomenon is normal. The system is d e p e n d e n t o n t h e t r a f fi c i n f o r m a t i o n a v a i l a b l e .
The performance of the system may slow down tempor arily if a CD is b e i n g c o p i e d o n t o t h e J u k e b o x a t t h e s a m e t i m e a s a r o u t e i s b e i n g calculated.
Wait until the CD has been copied or stop the c o p y i n g b e f o r e s t a r t i n g t h e g u i d a n c e f u n c t i o n .
D o e s t h e e m e r g e n c y c a l l function work without a S I M c a r d ?
N o , E u r o p e a n r e g u l a t i o n s i m p o s e t h e p r e s e n c e o f a S I M c a r d i n o r d e r t o m a k e a n e m e r g e n c y c a l l . Insert a valid SIM card in the slot on your PC Com.
My SIM card is not r e c o g n i s e d . The audio equipment accepts 3.3 V SIM cards, the o ld 5 V and 1.8 V SIM c a r d s a r e n o t r e c o g n i s e d . Contact your telephone operator.
A f t e r c h a n g i n g a w h e e l , the system loses its location.
Y o u r P C C o m u s e s t h e w h e e l r o t a t i o n i n f o r m a t i o n t o i m p r o v e t h e G P S l o c a t i n g f u n c t i o n . I f a w h e e l i s c h a n g e d o r d e fl a t e s s u d d e n l y , t h e s y s t e m recalculates the location. For approximately ten mi nutes, this recalculation m a y a f f e c t t h e q u a l i t y o f t h e l o c a t i n g f u n c t i o n .
