COMFORT
STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
The height and depth of the steering
wheel can be adjusted to adapt the
driving position to the size of the driver.
A d j u s t m e n t
W h e n s t a t i o n a r y , pull the control to
unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust the height and depth.
Push the control to lock the steering
wheel.
As a safety precaution, it is impera-
tive that these operations are carried
out while the vehicle is stationary.
In order to guarantee optimum visibility when manoeuvring the vehicle, the
mirror lightens automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.

System which automatically and pro-
gressively changes between day and
night use.
In order to prevent dazzle, the interior
mirror glass darkens automatically de-
pending on the intensity of the light from
the rear.
It lightens when the light (light beam of
following vehicles, sun...) decreases, so
guaranteeing optimum visibility. S w i t c h i n g o n
Switch on the ignition and press
switch 1 .
The indicator lamp 2 comes on and the
mirror operates automatically.

Press switch 1 .
The indicator lamp 2 switches off and
the mirror remains in its lightest state.

Unlocking and partial opening of
the boot
Press this button for more
than two seconds to unlock
the boot. The boot opens
slightly.
This action unlocks the v e h i c l e fi r s t .
Press the open padlock
once to unlock the driver's
door only.
Selective unlocking using the

fl a s h i n g o f t h e d i r e c t i o n i n d i c a t o r s f o r
approximately two seconds.
According to version, the exterior
mirrors unfold at the same time as the
fi r s t u n l o c k i n g a c t i o n .
Selective unlocking using the key
Turn the key to the left in the driver's
door lock once to unlock the driver's
door only.
Turn the key to the left in the driver's
door lock again to unlock the
passenger's door and the boot. The complete or selective
unlocking parameter is set
via the multifunction dis-
p l a y c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u .
System which permits central unlocking
and locking of the vehicle using the lock
or from a distance, as well as of the
interior storage compartments (glove
box and front armrest). It is also used to
locate and start the vehicle, as well as
providing protection against theft.
Unfolding the key
First press button A to unfold the key.

of the direction indicators for approxi-
mately two seconds.
The central unlocking also unlocks
the glove box and the front armrest
compartment.
According to version, the exterior mirrors

ACCESS
Deadlocking renders the exte-
rior and interior door controls
inoperative.
It also deactivates the manual central
control button.
Therefore, never leave anyone inside
the vehicle when it is deadlocked.
If one of the doors or the boot is still
open, the central locking does not
take place.
After unlocking the vehicle, if none
of the accesses - door or boot - are
opened within thirty seconds, the
vehicle will re-lock automatically.

The folding and unfolding of the
exterior mirrors using the remote
control can be deactivated by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Press the closed padlock to
lock the vehicle completely.

Manual follow-me-home lighting
The temporary maintaining of the
dipped headlamps lighting after the ve-
hicle’s ignition has been switched off
makes the driver’s exit easier when the
light is poor.
Switching on

headlamps using the lights stalk B .
A s e c o n d " h e a d l a m p fl a s h " s w i t c h e s
the function off again.
Switching off
The manual follow-me-home lighting
switches off automatically after a set
time. Automatic lighting
The side lights and dipped headlamps
are switched on automatically, without
any action on the part of the driver,
when a low level of external light is
detected or in certain cases of activa-
tion of the windscreen wipers.
As soon as the brightness returns to a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o r a f t e r t h e w i n d s c r e e n
wipers are switched off, the lights are
switched off automatically.
In fog or snow, the brightness
s e n s o r m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t l i g h t .
Therefore, the lights will not come
on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sensor,
coupled with the rain sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the interior mirror;
the associated functions would no
longer be controlled.
Coupling with the automatic
"Follow-me-home" lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides the "follow-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:
- selection of the duration of main-
taining of the lighting for 15, 30 or
60 seconds in the vehicle parameters
o n t h e m u l t i f u n c t i o n d i s p l a y c o n fi g u -
ration menu,
- automatic activation of "follow-me- home" lighting when automatic
lighting is in operation.
Activation
Turn ring A to the "AUTO" position.
The automatic lighting is accompa-
nied by a message on the multifunc-
tion display.
Deactivation
Turn ring A to a position other than
"AUTO" . Deactivation is accompa-
nied by a message on the multifunc-
tion display. Operating fault
In the event of a malfunction of the
brightness sensor, the lights come
on, this warning light is displayed
on the instrument panel and/or a
message appears on the multifunction dis-
play, accompanied by an audible signal.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.

Pull the windscreen wiper stalk
towards you. The windscreen wash
then the windscreen wipers operate
f o r a fi x e d p e r i o d .
If the dipped headlamps are on, the
headlamp washers operate at the same
time.
Screenwash/headlamp wash low
I n t h e c a s e o f v e h i c l e s fi t t e d w i t h
headlamp washers, when the
minimum level of the reservoir is
reached, this warning light and/
or the service warning light is displayed
on the instrument panel, accompanied
by an audible signal and a message on
the multifunction display.

headlamp wash reservoir.
The warning light is displayed when the
ignition is switched on, or every time the
s t a l k i s o p e r a t e d , u n t i l t h e r e s e r v o i r i s fi l l e d .
Automatic windscreen wiping

matically, without any action on the part
of the driver, if rain is detected (sensor
b e h i n d t h e i n t e r i o r m i r r o r ) , a d a p t i n g t h e i r
speed to the intensity of the rainfall.
Activation
This is controlled manually by the driver by
pushing stalk A to the "AUTO" position.
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen.
Do not cover the rain sensor, linked
with the brightness sensor and
located in the centre of the wind-
screen behind the interior mirror.
Switch off the automatic wiping when
using an automatic car wash.
In winter, it is advisable to wait until
the windscreen is completely clear
of ice before activating the auto-
matic wiping. The automatic wiping must be reac-
tivated if the ignition has been off for
more than one minute, by pushing
stalk
A downwards.
Switching off
This is controlled manually by the driver
by moving stalk A upwards and returning
it to position "0" .
It is accompanied by a message on the
multifunction screen. Operating fault
If an automatic wiping malfunction occurs,
the wipers will operate in intermittent
mode.
