62 For your comfort, the height and the
longitudinal position of the front armrest
can be adjusted.
It also offers a storage compartment. As a
security measure when in the "cabriolet"
c o n fi g u r a t i o n , t h i s i s l o c k e d a t t h e s a m e
time as the rest of the vehicle, using the
remote control or the key only.
As a safety precaution, it is im-
perative that these operations are
carried out when stationary.
1. Control for release of the seat back
and automatic forward movement of
the seat.
2. Control for return of the seat to the
initial position.

When the engine is running or the vehicle
is moving, the lighting of one of the fol-
lowing warning lights indicates the occur-
rence of a fault requiring intervention on
the part of the driver. Central alert.
Lighting is associated with
the displaying of another
warning light:
- punctured wheel,
- braking,
- power steering,
- engine oil pressure,
- coolant temperature,
stop the vehicle immediately and as
safely as possible.
Service.
If this comes on, it indicates the
occurrence of a problem in one
of the systems which does not
h a v e a s p e c i fi c w a r n i n g l i g h t .
In order to identify it, consult the mes-
sage on the multifunction display. Braking.
If this comes on, it indicates the
occurrence of a fault in one of
the braking systems:
- s i g n i fi c a n t d r o p i n t h e l e v e l i n t h e circuit,
- electronic brake force distribution (EBFD) faulty (simultaneous lighting
of the ABS warning light),
stop the vehicle immediately and as
safely as possible.
When the vehicle is moving, check that
the handbrake is fully released.
Any fault resulting in the displaying
of a warning light must be the sub-
ject of further diagnostics by read-
ing the associated message on the
multifunction display.
Should you encounter any prob-
lems, do not hesitate to contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Warning lights
Anti-lock braking system
(ABS).
If this comes on, it indicates the
occurrence of a fault in the anti-
lock braking system.
However, this does not prevent opera-
tion of the vehicle's assisted braking.
Common warning lights
After checking:
- that the doors, boot and bonnet are
closed,
- the engine oil level,
- t h e s c r e e n w a s h fl u i d l e v e l ,
- the remote control battery,
- the pressure of the tyres,
- the end of saturation of the particle e m i s s i o n fi l t e r ( D i e s e l ) ,
for any other situations, contact a
PEUGEOT dealer.

Water in diesel ** .
If this is displayed, it indicates
the presence of water in the
d i e s e l fi l t e r .
There is a risk of damage to the injec-
tion system on Diesel engines.
Automatic headlamp
adjustment.
If this is displayed, it indicates the
occurrence of a fault in the auto-
matic headlamp adjustment. P a r t i c l e e m i s s i o n fi l t e r
(Diesel).
If this is displayed, linked with
the service warning light, it in-
dicates the start of saturation of the
p a r t i c l e e m i s s i o n fi l t e r o r a l o w d i e s e l
additive reservoir level.
A s s o o n a s t r a f fi c c o n d i t i o n s p e r m i t , r e -
g e n e r a t e t h e fi l t e r b y d r i v i n g a t a s p e e d
of at least 40 mph (60 km/h) until the
service warning light is switched off.
If the service warning light is still dis-
played, the additive level is low. Have it
topped up by a PEUGEOT dealer with-
out delay.
D e fl a t e d w h e e l .
If this is displayed, it indicates
a n i n s u f fi c i e n t p r e s s u r e i n o n e
or more wheels.
Check the pressure of the tyres as soon
as possible. Punctured wheel.
If this is displayed, it indicates
that one or more wheels are
punctured. Stop the vehicle
immediately and as safely as possible.
Change the damaged wheel and have it
repaired by a PEUGEOT dealer.
T y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n
detection.
If this is displayed, it indicates
the occurrence of a fault on one
o f t h e s e n s o r s o r i n t h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a -
tion detection system.
It may also indicate the absence of a
sensor when the spare wheel, which
d o e s n o t h a v e a s e n s o r , i s fi t t e d i n p l a c e
of a punctured wheel.
Automatic switching on of
the lights.
If this comes on, it indicates the
occurrence of a fault in the auto-
matic switching on of the lights.
Use the other positions of the lights
stalk.
Visual and/or audible
parking assistance.
If this comes on, in forward and/
or reverse gear, it indicates a
fault in the parking assistance
system.
Automatic gearbox.
If this is displayed, it indicates
the occurrence of a fault in the
automatic gearbox. The gear-
box will then operate in down-grade
mode, locked on 3rd gear.
It may also be displayed if a door is
opened.
Invalid value.
If this is displayed, it indicates
the occurrence of a fault in the
programme of the automatic
gearbox.
Position P or N.
If this is displayed, it indicates
that the gear lever must be
placed in position
P or N in
order to start the engine.

STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT
The height and depth of the steering
wheel can be adjusted to adapt the
driving position to the size of the driver.
A d j u s t m e n t
W h e n s t a t i o n a r y , pull the control to
unlock the steering wheel.
Adjust the height and depth.
Push the control to lock the steering
wheel.
As a safety precaution, it is impera-
tive that these operations are carried
out while the vehicle is stationary.
In order to guarantee optimum visibility when manoeuvring the vehicle, the
mirror lightens automatically when
reverse gear is engaged.

System which automatically and pro-
gressively changes between day and
night use.
In order to prevent dazzle, the interior
mirror glass darkens automatically de-
pending on the intensity of the light from
the rear.
It lightens when the light (light beam of
following vehicles, sun...) decreases, so
guaranteeing optimum visibility. S w i t c h i n g o n
Switch on the ignition and press
switch 1 .
The indicator lamp 2 comes on and the
mirror operates automatically.
S w i t c h i n g o f f
Press switch 1 .
The indicator lamp 2 switches off and
the mirror remains in its lightest state.

The height and depth of the steering
wheel can be adjusted to adapt the
driving position to the size of the driver.

W h e n s t a t i o n a r y , pull the control to

Adjust the height and depth.
Push the control to lock the steering
wheel.

Raise the cover fully.
Longitudinal adjustment
Slide the cover fully forwards or
rearwards.
Height adjustment

tion (low, intermediate or high).
If you raise the cover slightly beyond
t h e h i g h p o s i t i o n , g u i d e i t w h e n l o w e r -
ing it to the low position.
USB PLUG - READER
This connection box, consisting of a USB
port, is located in the front armrest.
It permits the connection of portable
equipment, such as an iPod ®
digital
audio player of generation 5 or later or
a USB stick.
I t r e a d s t h e a u d i o fi l e f o r m a t s ( m p 3 ,
ogg, wma, wav...) which are transmitted
to your audio equipment and played via
the vehicle's speakers.
Y o u c a n m a n a g e t h e s e fi l e s u s i n g t h e
steering wheel controls or the audio
equipment control panel and display
them on the multifunction screen.
