SAFETY
ADVICE ON CHILD SEATS
Installing a booster seat
The chest part of the seat belt must
be positioned on the child's shoulder
without touching the neck.
Ensure that the lap part of the seat
belt passes correctly over the child's
thighs.
PEUGEOT recommends the use of
a b o o s t e r s e a t w h i c h h a s a b a c k , fi t -
ted with a seat belt guide at shoulder
level. As a safety precaution, do not leave:
- one or more children alone and
unsupervised in a vehicle,
- a child or an animal in a vehicle which is exposed to the sun, with
the windows closed,
- the keys within reach of children inside the vehicle.
The incorrect installation of a child
seat in a vehicle compromises the
child's protection in the event of an ac-
cident.
Remember to fasten the seat belts or
the child seat harnesses
keeping the
slack in relation to the child's body to
a minimum, e v e n f o r s h o r t j o u r n e y s .
For optimum installation of the "for-
ward facing" child seat, ensure that
the back of the child seat is in contact
with the back of the vehicle's seat and
that the head restraint does not cause
any discomfort.
Children under the age of 10 must not
travel in the "forward facing" position
on the front passenger seat, unless
the rear seats are already occupied by
other children, cannot be used or are
absent.
Disarm the passenger air bag when
a "rear facing" child seat is installed
on the front seat. Otherwise, the child
w o u l d r i s k b e i n g s e r i o u s l y i n j u r e d o r
k i l l e d i f t h e a i r b a g w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
Do not use the passenger's neck
heater if a child seat is installed on the
front seat.

For safety reasons and because they require prolonged attention on the part of the driver, the operations for matching of the Bluetooth mobile telephone with your WIP Sound's hands-free k it must be carried out with the vehicle stationary and the ignition on.
Select the accessory which corresponds to the n a m e o f t h e v e h i c l e , a s u p e r i m p o s e d c o n fi g u r a t i o n display appears on the multifunction display.
Activate the telephone's Bluetooth function and carry out a search of the Bluetooth accessories present for the telephone.
Select the YES tab on the display using t h e b u t t o n s t h e n c o n fi r m b y p r e s s i n g O K .
E n t e r t h e v e h i c l e ' s a u t h e n t i c a t i o n c o d e ( = 1 2 3 4 ) . Depending on the telephone, you may be asked to enter this code before the superimposed c o n fi g u r a t i o n d i s p l a y a p p e a r s .

RECEIVING A CALL
An incoming call is announced by a ring and a supe rimposed display on the multifunction display.
Select the YES tab on the display using t h e b u t t o n s a n d c o n fi r m b y p r e s s i n g O K .
Press the end of the steering wheel stalk to accept the call.
Press the end of the steering wheel stalk for more than two seconds to access your directory.
To dial a number, use the keypad on your telephone.

ENTERING THE PIN CODE
Access the slot by pressing the button using the tip of a pen.
Install the SIM card in the holder and then insert it in the slot.
To remove the SIM card, repeat step 1.
Your SIM card must be installed and removed with t he WIP Com switched off and the ignition off.
Enter the PIN code on the keypad.
