ACCESS
Unlocking and partially opening
the boot
BOOT Boot anti-theft protection
The boot is designed to remain secure,
e v e n i n t h e " c a b r i o l e t " c o n fi g u r a t i o n , i f
the vehicle is locked.
So, when the vehicle is locked and the
roof is open, the boot cannot be un-
locked:
- by means of the interior door open- ing control,
- by pressing the manual centralised control A , when the key is not in the
ignition switch.
Opening
After unlocking the boot or the vehi-
cle using the remote control or the
key, press the opening control, then
raise the boot lid.
When the selective unlocking is ac-
tivated, the boot can be opened at
the second press of the unlocking
button on the remote control.
Press this button for more
than two seconds to un-
lock the boot. The boot
opens slightly.
This action also unlocks the doors.
If a battery failure occurs, the boot
is locked. Consult a PEUGEOT
dealer. Closing
Lower the boot lid using the interior
grab handle.
Press on the top of the boot lid to
close it fully.
If the boot lid is not closed correctly: -
when the engine is running ,
this warning lamp comes on,
accompanied by a message
on the multifunction screen
for a few seconds,
-
when the vehicle is moving (speed
above 6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning
lamp comes on, accompanied by an
audible signal and a message on the
multifunction screen for a few seconds.

VISIBILITY
Front and rear foglamps.
Press, turning ring C :
forwards once to switch on the front
foglamps,
forwards again to switch on the rear
foglamp,
rearwards once to switch off the rear
foglamp,
rearwards again to switch off the
front foglamps.
When the lighting is switched off auto-
m a t i c a l l y ( w i t h A U T O m o d e l ) o r w h e n t h e
dipped beam headlamps are switched
off manually, the front foglamps and the
sidelamps will remain on.
Turn the ring rearwards to switch off
the front foglamps, the sidelamps
will then switch off. In good or rainy weather, both day
and night, the front foglamps and
the rear foglamp are prohibited. In
these situations, the power of their
beams may dazzle other drivers.
They should only be used in fog or
snow.
In these weather conditions, it is
your responsibility to switch on the
foglamps and dipped beam head-
lamps manually as the sunshine
s e n s o r m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t l i g h t .
Do not forget to switch off the front
foglamps and the rear foglamp
when they are no longer neces-
sary.
Switching off of the lamps when
the ignition is switched off
On switching off the ignition, all
of the lamps turn off immediately,
except for dipped beam if guide-
me-home lighting is activated.

The foglamps operate with the dipped
and main beam headlamps.
In some weather conditions (e.g.
l o w t e m p e r a t u r e o r h u m i d i t y ) , t h e
presence of misting on the internal
surface of the glass of the head-
lamps and rear lamps is normal;
it disappears after the lamps have
been on for a few minutes. Switching on the lamps after the
ignition is switched off
To reactivate the lighting control, rotate
ring
A to the "0" position - lamps off,
then to the desired position.
On opening the driver's door a tem-
porary audible signal warns the
driver that the lighting is on.
The lamps, with the exception of
the sidelamps, switch off automati-
cally after a maximum duration of
thirty minutes to prevent discharg-
ing of the battery.

the Warranty and Maintenance Record
and according to your engine.
Otherwise, have them checked by a
PEUGEOT dealer.
Battery
The battery does not require
any maintenance.
H o w e v e r , c h e c k t h a t t h e t e r -
minals are clean and correctly
tightened, particularly in sum-
mer and winter.
When carrying out work on the battery,
refer to the "Practical information" sec-
tion for details of the precautions to be
taken before disconnecting the battery
and following its reconnection.
Air filter and passenger compartment filter
Refer to the Warranty and
Maintenance Record for details
of the replacement intervals for
these components.
Depending on the environment (e.g.
dusty atmosphere) and the use of the
vehicle (e.g. city driving), replace them
twice as often if necessary (refer to
the "Engines" paragraph).
A c l o g g e d c a b i n fi l t e r m a y h a v e a n a d -
verse effect on the performance of the
air conditioning system and generate
undesirable odours. Particle emission filter (Diesel)
Display of this warning lamp,
together with the service warn-
ing lamp, indicates the start of
s a t u r a t i o n o f t h e p a r t i c l e fi l t e r o r
low level in the Diesel additive
reservoir.
Oil filter
R e p l a c e t h e o i l fi l t e r e a c h t i m e
the engine oil is changed.

of the replacement interval for
this component.
Following prolonged operation of
the vehicle at very low speed or at
idle, you may, in exceptional cir-
cumstances, notice the emission
of water vapour at the exhaust on
acceleration. This does not affect
the behaviour of the vehicle or the
environment.
Topping up
This additive must be topped up by a
PEUGEOT dealer without delay.
