High load retaining net
Hooked onto the special upper and lower
fi x i n g s , t h i s p e r m i t s u s e o f t h e e n t i r e l o a d -
ing volume up to the roof behind the seats
of the 2nd row. 12 V accessories socket
In order to connect a 12 V accesso-
r y ( m a x p o w e r : 1 0 0 W a t t s ) , r e m o v e
the cap and connect the appropriate
adaptor.
Turn the key to the ignition position.
To use the net in the 2nd row (additional
seats folded or removed):
roll up or remove the load space
screen,
o p e n t h e c o v e r s o f t h e u p p e r fi x i n g s 1 ,
unroll the high load retaining net,
position one of the ends of the net's
metal bar in the corresponding upper
fi x i n g 1 , then do the same with the
other end,
attach the snap hook of each of the
net's straps in the corresponding
ring 2 , l o c a t e d o n t h e l o w e r fi x i n g o f
the rear side seat belt,
tighten the straps,
check that the net is hooked and
tightened correctly. Hooks
The hooks permit the securing of shop-
ping bags.
When positioning the net, check
that the strap loops are visible from
the boot; this will make slackening
or tightening easier.

LAYOUT
Torch
This is a removable light, incorporated
in the boot wall, which can be used to
light the boot or as a torch.
For the boot lighting function, refer to
the "Visibility - § Boot lighting" section.
Operation
This torch operates with NiMH type ac-
cumulators.
I t h a s a n o p e r a t i n g a u t o n o m y o f a p p r o x -
imately 45 minutes and charges while
you are driving. Use
E x t r a c t t h e t o r c h f r o m i t s l o c a t i o n
pulling it upwards.
Press the switch, located on the
back, to switch the torch on or off.
Unfold the support, located on the
back, to set down and raise the
t o r c h ; f o r e x a m p l e , w h e n c h a n g i n g
a wheel.
Storing
Put the torch back in place in its lo-
cation starting with the lower part.
If you have forgotten to switch off the torch, this switches it off auto-
matically. Side blinds
Fitted on the rear windows of the 2nd
row, these protect your young children
from the sun.
Pull the blind by the central tab.
Position the blind attachments on
the corresponding hooks.
O b s e r v e t h e p o l a r i t i e s w h e n fi t t i n g
the accumulators.
Never replace the accumulators
with batteries. It the torch is not engaged correct-
ly, it may not charge and may not
come on when the boot is opened.

Installation Removal and storing
Press the red button on the buckle
B , then on the buckle A .
Guide the strap as it rolls up and
bring the tongue B , then A onto the
magnet of the attachment point on
the roof.
3 rd row rear seat belts
Installation
Pull the strap and insert the tongue
C in the buckle, on the boot side trim
side.
Insert the tongue D in the opposite
buckle.
Check the fastening of each buckle
by pulling the strap.
Pull the strap and insert the tongue
A in the left-hand buckle.
Insert the tongue B in the right-hand
buckle.
Check the fastening of each buckle
by pulling the strap.
The seat belts for the rear seats of the
3 rd row are incorporated at the corner
of the corresponding boot pillar and of
the roof. If the two side seats of the 2nd row
are re-aligned, always use the rear
side seat belts.
Removal and storing
Press the red button on the buckle
D , then on the buckle C .
Guide the strap as it rolls up and
bring the tongue D , then C onto the
magnet of the attachment point on
the corresponding boot pillar.
The seat belt for the rear centre seat of
the 2 nd row is incorporated at the rear
left of the roof.

CHANGING A WHEEL
The tools are installed in the boot under
t h e fl o o r .
To gain access to them:
open the boot,
r a i s e t h e fl o o r ,
secure it by hooking its cord on the
hook on the rear shelf support,
remove the polystyrene storage
b o x ,
u n c l i p a n d r e m o v e t h e b o x c o n t a i n -
ing the tools. A l l o f t h e s e t o o l s a r e s p e c i fi c t o y o u r
vehicle. Do not use them for other
purposes.
1. Wheelbrace.
Permits removal of the wheel trim a n d r e m o v a l o f t h e w h e e l fi x i n g
bolts.
2. Jack with integral handle.
Permits raising of the vehicle.
3. "Bolt cover" tool.
Permits removal of the bolt pro- tectors (covers) on alloy wheels.

W h e n r e fi t t i n g t h e w h e e l , r e fi t t h e
trim starting by placing its notch fac-
ing the valve and press around its
edge with the palm of your hand.
4. Centring guide.
P e r m i t s t h e r e fi t t i n g o f a n a l l o y wheel on the hub.
5. Socket for the anti-theft bolts (lo-
c a t e d i n t h e g l o v e b o x ) .
Permits adaptation of the wheel- brace to the special "anti-theft"
bolts.

faulty wheel for the spare
wheel using the tools pro-
vided with the vehicle.
The tools 1 and 6 are installed in the
boot left-hand side trim.
The tools 2 to 4 a r e i n s t a l l e d i n a b o x ,
in the centre of the spare wheel, placed
underneath the vehicle.
To gain access to them:
open the boot,
o p e n t h e a c c e s s fl a p i n t h e l e f t - h a n d
side trim,
remove the wheelbrace from its sup-
port,
refer to the paragraph "Access to
t h e s p a r e w h e e l " o n t h e n e x t p a g e
to retrieve the other tools.

vehicle. Do not use them for other

Fixing the steel or "space-
saving" type spare wheel
I f y o u r v e h i c l e i s fi t t e d w i t h a l l o y
wheels, it is normal to notice, when
t i g h t e n i n g t h e b o l t s o n fi t t i n g , t h a t
the washers do not come into con-
tact with the steel or "space-saving"
type spare wheel. The wheel is
secured by the conical contact of
each bolt.
Access to the spare wheel
The spare wheel is installed in the boot
u n d e r t h e fl o o r .
According to country, the spare wheel
may be steel, alloy or of the "space sav-
ing" type.
To gain access to it, refer to the para-
graph "Access to the tools" on the previ-
ous page.
Taking out the wheel
Unscrew the yellow central bolt.
Raise the spare wheel towards you
from the rear.
Take the wheel out of the boot.
Putting the wheel back in place
Put the wheel back in its housing.
Unscrew the yellow central bolt by a
few turns then put it in place in the
centre of the wheel.
Tighten fully until the central bolt
clicks to retain the wheel correctly.

tre of the wheel and clip it.
P u t t h e p o l y s t y r e n e s t o r a g e b o x
back in place.

disconnect the light connector,
press the four tabs and remove the
bulb holder,
turn the bulb a quarter of a turn and
change it.

Take care to engage the light in its guides
keeping it in line with the vehicle.

TOWING THE VEHICLE
Access to the tools Towing your vehicle
On the front bumper, unclip the cov-
er by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towbar.
Switch on the hazard warning lights
on the towed vehicle.
On the rear bumper, unclip the cov-
er by pressing at the bottom.
Screw the towing eye in fully.
Install the towbar.
Switch on the hazard warning lights
on the towed vehicle.
Towing another vehicle
The towing eye is installed in the boot
u n d e r t h e fl o o r .
To gain access to it:
open the boot,
r a i s e t h e fl o o r ,
secure it by hooking its cord on the
hook on the shelf support,
remove the polystyrene storage
b o x ,
remove the towing eye from the
holder. When towing with all four wheels on
the ground, always use a towbar.
When towing with only two wheels
on the ground, always use profes-
sional lifting equipment.
When towing with the engine off,
there is no longer any braking or
steering assistance.
Place the gear lever in neutral
(position N on the piloted manual
g e a r b o x o r a u t o m a t i c g e a r b o x ) .
Failure to observe this special con-
dition could result in damage to
certain braking components and
the absence of braking assistance
