Automatic day/night interior
mirror
This automatically and gradually
c h a n g e s b e t w e e n t h e d a y a n d n i g h t
p o s i t i o n s . T o p r e v e n t d a z z l i n g , t h e
glass of the mirror darkens automati-
c a l l y d e p e n d i n g o n t h e i n t e n s i t y o f t h e
light from behind. It clears as the light
( h e a d l a m p s o f f o l l o w i n g v e h i c l e s , s u n -
light) decreases, ensuring maximum
v i s i b i l i t y .

This carries out the same functions as
t h e k e y , a n d p a r t i a l o p e n i n g o f t h e b o o t
(saloon) or rear screen (407 SW), at a
distance.
I t i s i n c o r p o r a t e d i n t h e k e y a n d c a r r i e s
out remote locking and unlocking.
Locking
Press button B .
The direction indicators come on for
a p p r o x i m a t e l y t w o s e c o n d s a n d t h e
exterior mirrors fold.
Press and hold button B to close the
w i n d o w s a n d s u n r o o f a u t o m a t i c a l l y i n
addition to locking. Unlocking and partial opening of
the boot (saloon) or rear screen
(407 SW)
Press and hold button D .
This action also unlocks the doors.
