SETTING THE DATE AND TIME
Set the parameters using the ring and move on to the next usingthe 4-direction navigator. P r e s s O K t o c o n fi r m .
Select the "Date format" function and p r e s s O K t o c o n fi r m . Select the format required using the r i n g a n d p r e s s O K t o c o n fi r m .
Select the "Set date & time" function a n d p r e s s O K t o c o n fi r m .
Pressing the SETUP button for more than 2 seconds peds permits a c c e s s t o :
This setting operation must be carried out if the battery httery has been disconnected.
Press the SETUP button.
Select the "Time format" function and p r e s s O K t o c o n fi r m . Select the format required using t h e r i n g a n d p r e s s O K t o c o n fi r m .

An incorrect waveband is selected.
The quality of reception of the radio station listened to gradually deteriorates or the stored stations do not function (no s o u n d , 8 7 . 5 M h z i s d i s p l a y e d . . . ) .
Activate the "RDS" function by means of the short-cut menu to enable the system to check whether there is a more powerful transmitter in the geographical area.
Press RADIO, select Radio Menu then "Waveband" to return to the waveband on which the stations are stored.
The vehicle is too far from the transmitter used by the station listened to or there is no transmitter in the geographical area th rough which the vehicle is travelling.
T h e e n v i r o n m e n t ( h i l l s , b u i l d i n g s , t u n n e l s , b a s e m e n t c a r p a r k s . . . ) b l o c k reception, including in RDS mode.
Sound cut-outs of 1 to 2 seconds in radio mode.
During this brief sound cut-out, the RDS searches for any frequency permitting better reception of the station. Deactivate the "RDS" function by means of the short-cut menu if the phenomenon is too frequent and always on the same route.
With the engine off,the system switches off after a few minutes of use.
When the engine is switched off, the system's oper ating time depends on the battery charge.
T h e s w i t c h - o f f i s n o r m a l : t h e s y s t e m s w i t c h e s t o e c o n o m y m o d e a n d switches off to prevent discharging of the vehicle's battery.
Start the vehicle's engine to increase the battery charge.
This phenomenon is normal and does not indicate a failure of the audio equipment.
Have the aerial checked by a PEUGEOT dealer. The aerial is absent or has been damaged (for exam ple when going through a c a r w a s h o r i n t o a n u n d e r g r o u n d c a r p a r k ) .
