Fill up with fuel without delay. The evaluation of
the fuel reserve is a parameter which is sensitive
t o t h e s t y l e o f d r i v i n g , t h e p r o fi l e o f t h e r o a d , t h e
time elapsed and the distance travelled since the
warning light came on.
Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel,
this could damage the emission control and
i n j e c t i o n s y s t e m s .

LOW FUEL LEVEL Filling with fuel
T h e t a n k m u s t b e fi l l e d w i t h f u e l w i t h
the engine off .
- O p e n t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p .
- Insert the key then turn it to the left.
- Remove the cap and attach it to the clip located on the inside of the
fl a p .
It is usual to hear an air intake noise
when opening the cap as there is a
vacuum linked with the sealing of the
fuel circuit.
A l a b e l o n t h e i n s i d e o f t h e fl a p
indicates which type of fuel to use.
More than 5 litres of fuel must be
added in order to be registered by the
fuel gauge.
I f y o u fi l l y o u r t a n k , d o n o t c o n t i n u e
after the third cut-off of the pump
nozzle. This could result in vehicle
malfunctions.
FILLING THE FUEL TANK
I f t h e w a r n i n g l i g h t fl a s h e s , t h i s
indicates a fuel gauge malfunction.
Consult a PEUGEOT dealer.
When the tank's minimum
level is reached, this warning
light comes on, accompanied
by the message "Fuel level
low" on the display. When
t h i s w a r n i n g l i g h t fi r s t c o m e s o n , y o u
have approximately 8 litres left,
depending on driving conditions and
the engine.
Fill up with fuel as soon as possible to
avoid running out.
Never continue to drive until you run
out of fuel as this could damage the
emission control and injection systems. The capacity of the tank is
approximately 18 gallons (
80 litres).

rear left sliding side door.
The key cannot be removed from the

FUEL CIRCUIT DISARMED
In a serious collision, a mechanism
automatically prevents fuel from
reaching the engine. T h e fl a s h i n g o f t h i s w a r n i n g
light is accompanied by a
message on the display.
DIESEL REPRIMING PUMP
If you should run out of fuel, it is
necessary to re-prime the circuit:
- fi l l t h e f u e l t a n k w i t h a t l e a s t fi v e litres of diesel,
- squeeze and release the manual re-priming pump, under the bonnet
under the protective cover, until fuel
appears in the transparent pipe,
- operate the starter until the engine starts.
Check that there is no odour or
leakage of fuel outside the vehicle and
re-establish the fuel supply:
- switch off the ignition (STOP position).
- remove the key.
- put the key back in the ignition.
- switch on the ignition and start.
Quality of the fuel used for
Diesel engines
The Diesel engines are perfectly
compatible with biofuels which conform
to current and future European
standards (Diesel fuel which complies
with standard EN 590 mixed with a
biofuel which complies with standard
EN 14214) available at the pumps
(containing up to 7 % Fatty Acid Methyl
Ester).
The B30 biofuel can be used in certain
Diesel engines; however, this use
is subject to strict application of the
special servicing conditions. Consult a
PEUGEOT dealer.
The use of any other type of (bio)fuel
(vegetable or animal oils, pure or
diluted, domestic fuel...) is strictly
prohibited (risk of damage to the
engine and fuel system).

This displays the following information, via the audio control panel: - time, - date, - ambient temperature (if there is a risk of ice, you are warned by a message), - audio source displays (radio, CD, jukebox, ... ), - telematic system displays (telephone, services , ...), - check of openings (doors, boot, ...), - warning messages (e.g.: "Fuel level low") and vehicle function status messages (e.g.: "Auto lighting activated") displaye d temporarily, - trip computer information, - GPS (Europe) satellite navigation system information.
The system uses the complete and detailed NAVTEQ m aps installed directly on the equipment's hard disk. Updates of the maps of the UK and of the other Euro pean countries, offered by our partner NAVTEQ, are available from the PEUGEOT network.

A FEW DEFINITIONS
R a n g e : displays the distance which can travelled with the remaining fuel detected in the tank, basd on the average consumpti on over the last few miles (kilometres). T h i s d i s p l a y e d v a l u e m a y v a r y s i g n i fi c a n t l y f o l l o w i n g a c h a n g e i n t h e v e h i c l e speed or the relief of the route. When the range falls below 20 miles (30 km), dashe s are displayed. After fi l l i n g w i t h a t l e a s t 1 0 l i t r e s o f f u e l , t h e r a n g e i s r e c a l c u l a t e d a n d i s d i s p l a y e d when it exceeds 60 miles (100 km). If, whilst driving, dashes are displayed continuou sly in place of the digits, contact a PEUGEOT dealer.
