- increasing of the interior ambient air
temperature HI (High) which heats to a
maximum graduation of 32,
- cooling of the interior ambient air temperature LO (Low) which cools to a
graduation of 16. i n c r e a s e ( + ) o r r e d u c e ( - ) t h e f o r c e o f t h e
interior air flow.
Air distribution
Pressing lights the diode on the buttons
which distribute the air flow towards: the windscreen and front side
window vents (demisting/de-icing
of the windows),
the central and side vents (chest
and face),
the vents in the front and rear
areas (feet).
The combination of buttons permits
improvement of air distribution. Air flow
Successive presses of this button Intake of exterior air/
recirculation of interior air
When the diode is lit, the air
recirculates inside the passenger
compartment to prevent the entry of exterior
odours and smoke. This position should be
temporary.
When the ambient air comfort level has been
reached, pressing the button switches the
diode off and reopens the exterior air intake.
Pressing the AUTO button also restores
the intake of exterior air. Returning to this
position permits renewal of the air in the
passenger compartment and demisting.
Pressing the AUTO button again restores
the FULL AUTO function.
Rapid demisting/de-icing
Pressing this control permits
rapid clearing of the windows.
The diode is lit.
The system manages the air conditioning,
the flow and intake of air, the de-icing of
the rear screen and provides optimum
distribution of the air to the windscreen and
front side windows.
If your vehicle is fitted with additional
heating, please switch it off to guarantee
rapid and effective demisting/de-icing.

MIRRORS AND WINDOWS
MIRRORS
Exterior mirrors
These are divided into two zones:
A - Upper mirror
B - Lower mirror
The mirror glass is spherical in order to
widen the lateral field of vision. Objects
seen in the mirror are in reality closer than
they appear. Therefore, this must be taken
into account in order to assess the distance
correctly.
The shell incorporates the direction indicator
side repeater and the aerials, according to
the equipment available on board (GPS,
G S M , R a d i o , . . . ) . Electrical controls
Turn the control to select the mirror zone.

Then move the control in the direction of the
adjustment required.
2 Passenger mirror:

used in dangerous situations, when stopping
in an emergency or when driving in unusual
conditions.
Applying

not been released properly, this is
indicated by this warning light which
comes on on the instrument panel.

Towing a trailer
TOWING A TRAILER, CARAVAN, BOAT, ETC...
For more information about weights, refer to
the administrative documents
(V5 registration document, ...)Distribution of loads:
distribute the load in
the trailer so that the heaviest objects are as
close as possible to the axle and the nose
weight is close to the maximum authorised
without, however, exceeding it.Driving advice
A towed vehicle must free wheel: gearbox in
neutral.

ACCESSORIES
Towing a trailer
Cooling: towing a trailer on a slope
increases the coolant temperature.
As the fan is electrically controlled, its
cooling capacity is not dependent on the
engine speed.
On the contrary, use a high gear to lower the
engine speed and reduce your speed.
In all cases, pay attention to the coolant
temperature. Tyres:
check the tyre pressures of the
towing vehicle (see the "Identification
features" section of chapter 9) and of
the trailer, observing the recommended
pressure.Towbar
We recommend the use of original
PEUGEOT towbars and their harnesses,
which have been tested and approved from
the design stage of your vehicle and that
the fitting of this equipment is entrusted to a
PEUGEOT dealer.
If this equipment is not fitted by a
PEUGEOT dealer, it is imperative that it
is fitted using the electrical pre-equipment
installed at the rear of the vehicle and
in accordance with the manufacturer ’s
instructions.
Good practice
In certain cases of particularly arduous
use (towing the maximum load up a steep
slope in high temperatures), the engine
automatically limits its power. In this
case, the automatic cutting off of the air
conditioning allows the engine power to be
recovered.
If the coolant temperature
warning light comes on, stop the
vehicle and switch off the engine
as soon as possible.
See the "Levels" section of chapter 7. Brakes:
towing increases the braking
distance. Drive at a moderate speed,
change down early and brake gradually.
Side wind: sensitivity to side wind is
increased. Drive smoothly and at a
moderate speed.
ABS: the system only controls the vehicle,
not the trailer.
Rear parking assistance: the assistance
does not function while the vehicle is towing.
