THE KEYS The keys allow you to switch on the ignition and operate the pas-senger air bag disarming switchas well as to independently oper-ate the locks on the front doors,the fuel filler cap and the glovebox. Central locking
From the driver's door, the keys allow you to lock and unlock thefront, passenger and rear doors. If one of the doors is open, it is impossible to operate the centrallocking. The remote control performs the same functions at a distance.The remote control key Locking Press button
Ato lock the vehicle.
UnlockingPress button Bto unlock the vehi-
cle. STARTING
STOP position:
the ignition is off. 1st notch, MAR (Accessories) position:
the ignition is off but
the accessories can be used.
AVV (Starting) position:
operates the starter.
PARK position: position enabling you to leave the side lights on when parked,
with the ignition off and the keyremoved.

OPENING THE BONNET Inside the vehicle: push the
control on the left-hand side,
under the fascia panel. Outside the vehicle: lift
the control, raise the bon- net and secure the strutto keep the bonnet open.
FILLING WITH FUEL This operation must be carried out with the
engine switched off.
Open the fuel filler flap by pressing the front of it.
Insert the key then turn it to the left.
Remove the cap and hook it onto the hook on the inside of the flap.
An indication on the cap shows which type of fuel to use.
When you fill your tank, do not continue after the third cut-off of the
pump. This could cause a malfunction. The capacity of the tank is approximately 70 litres. After filling the tank, lock the cap and close the flap.
Low fuel level warning light From the time this light comes on, you have approxi-
mately 8 litres of fuel left.
