O p e r a t i o n o f t h e u t o m a t i c l i g h t i n g
s w i t c h e s o f f t h e r e a r f o g l a m p s , b u t t h e
f r o n t f o g l a m p s r e m a i n o n . T h i s w a r n i n g l i g h t c o m e s o n
o n t h e i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l .
T h e i n s t r u m e n t s a n d c o n t r o l s
( i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l , d i s p l a y , a i r
c o n d i t i o n i n g c o n t r o l p a n e l , . . . ) a r e
o n l y l i t o n s w i t c h i n g t o t h e a u t o m a t i c
switching on of the lights mode or
w h e n t h e l i g h t s a r e s w i t c h e d o n
m a n u a l l y .
T o s w i t c h o f f t h e f r o n t a n d r e a r
f o g l a m p s , t u r n t h e r i n g r e a r w a r d s t w i c e
in succession.
I n c l e a r w e a t h e r o r i n r a i n , b o t h d a y
a n d n i g h t , r e a r f o g l a m p s d a z z l e a n d
their use is prohibited. Automatic switching on of the lights
I n f o g g y w e a t h e r o r i n s n o w ,
t h e b r i g h t n e s s s e n s o r c a n
d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t l i g h t . A s a
consequence, the lights will not come
o n a u t o m a t i c a l l y . I f n e c e s s a r y , y o u
m u s t s w i t c h o n t h e d i p p e d h e a d l a m p s
m a n u a l l y .
D o n o t c o v e r t h e b r i g h t n e s s
s e n s o r l o c a t e d o n t h e w i n d s c r e e n ,
behind the mirror. It is used for
t h e a u t o m a t i c s w i t c h i n g o n o f t h e l i g h t s
a n d f o r t h e a u t o m a t i c w i p e r s .
Activation
Turn the ring to the AUTO position.
T h e a c t i v a t i o n o f t h i s f u n c t i o n i s
a c c o m p a n i e d b y a m e s s a g e o n t h e
d i s p l a y .
Deactivation
T u r n t h e r i n g f o r w a r d s o r r e a r w a r d s .
T h e d e a c t i v a t i o n o f t h i s f u n c t i o n i s
a c c o m p a n i e d b y a m e s s a g e o n t h e
d i s p l a y .
T h e f u n c t i o n i s d e a c t i v a t e d t e m p o r a r i l y
w h e n y o u u s e t h e m a n u a l l i g h t s s t a l k . The side lights
a n d d i p p e d b e a m
h e a d l a m p s s w i t c h
o n a u t o m a t i c a l l y i f
the light is poor, or
d u r i n g o p e r a t i o n o f t h e w i n d s c r e e n
w i p e r s . T h e y s w i t c h o f f a s s o o n a s t h e
light becomes bright enough or the
windscreen wipers stop.
T h i s f u n c t i o n i s n o t c o m p a t i b l e w i t h t h e
d a y t i m e l i g h t s .

a d a p t t h e i r s p e e d t o t h e i n t e n s i t y o f t h e
r a i n f a l l .
W h e n n o t i n AUTO mode, for the
o t h e r p o s i t i o n s , r e f e r t o t h e m a n u a l
windscreen wipers section.
T h e a u t o m a t i c w i n d s c r e e n w i p e r s
f u n c t i o n m u s t b e r e a c t i v a t e d i f t h e
i g n i t i o n h a s b e e n s w i t c h e d o f f f o r m o r e
t h a n o n e m i n u t e , b y p r e s s i n g t h e s t a l k
d o w n w a r d s .
W h e n u s i n g a n a u t o m a t i c c a r
w a s h , s w i t c h o f f t h e i g n i t i o n t o
a v o i d t r i g g e r i n g o f t h e a u t o m a t i c
wiping.
I n w i n t e r , i t i s a d v i s a b l e t o w a i t f o r t h e
