Asitisnotpossibletoexcludetheriskofdamagetothisprotectivecoatingindaytodaydriving,itisadvisabletohavetheundersideofthecarinspectedatcertainintervals-preferablybeforethestartofwinterandagaininspring-andtheundercoatingrestoredasnecessary.
YourauthorizedPorschedealerisfamiliarwiththebodysealtreatmentproceduresandhasthenecessaryequipmentforapplyingfactoryapprovedmaterials.Werecommendthatyouentrustthemwithsuchworkandinspections.
Unlikeconventionalsprayoils,undercoatingandrust-proofingcompoundsbasedonbitumenorwaxdonotattackthesound-proofingmaterialsappliedatthefactory.

Beforeapplyingfreshunderseal,carefullyremoveanydepositsordirtandgrease.Onceithasdried,thenewundercoatingcompoundformsatoughprotectivecoatingwhichprovidesefficientrust-proofingofthefloorpanelsandcomponents.
