Forimprovedvisibilityandsecuritywhenyougetinandoutofthecar,thefoglightsandthetaillightsremainonforacertainperiodoftime:
–Whenyougetoutofthecar,thelightsareturnedonforapprox.30secondsafterthedoorisopened.Theoff-delaytimeresumeswhenthevehicleislocked.OnvehicleswiththeSportChronoPlusPackage,thePCMcanbeusedtosettheoff-delaytime.Thissettingalsochangesthelightingperiodforunlockingthevehicle.Pleaseobservethechapter“IndividualMemory”intheseparatePCMoperatinginstructions.
–Thelightsareturnedonforapprox.30sec-ondswhenthevehicleisunlocked.ThelightsgooutiftheignitionisswitchedonorwhenleavingtheWelcomeHomelighting.
Iftheignitionkeyiswithdrawnandthedoorisopenedwhilethelights(nottheparkinglightleft/right)areon,agongwarnsofpossiblebatterydischarge.

AutomaticHeadlightBeamAdjustment
Function
VehicleswithBi-Xenonheadlightsfeatureautomaticheadlightbeamadjustment.
Whentheignitionisswitchedon,theleveloftheheadlightbeamautomaticallychangesinaccordancewiththevehicleload.Theleveloftheheadlightbeamisautomaticallykeptconstantduringaccelerationandbraking.
Checkingoperation
1.Switchthelowbeamon.
2.Insertignitionkeyandswitchignitionon.Thelightbeamfirstdipsallthewaydownandisthenadaptedtothevehicleload.
Ifthesetestitemsarenotmet,theheadlightbeamadjustmentmustbecheckedbyanauthorizedPorschedealer.
