With the ignition off, disconnect the fuel sender connector,
component code 833 and then check the resistance using a
multimeter.
Replace the sender, component
code 833 (see MR 411,
Mechanical, 19C, Fuel tank,
Sender: Removal - Refitting). Is the measured value above or equal to 260 ΩΩ Ω Ω
?
Compare the value measured to the value supplied by the CLIP
tool.
Is the value measured and the value provided by the CLIP
tool the same as or approximately ± 5 ΩΩ Ω Ω
?

Does the fuel warning light illuminate for 3
seconds when + after ignition is switched on?Replace the instrument panel,
