Additional operationsCost of additional operationsBesides the oil change service and the inspection ser
vice, there are other
maintenance jobs that are related to the condition
s of use and the equip-
ment. The need for these additional operations will de
pend on the age and
mileage of the vehicle, to ensure good performance. Y
our SEAT dealer will
inform you in detail of any additional work requir
ed with a service. These can
also be performed independently from the mandator
y services, bearing in
mind the status of the inspection and maintenanc
e plan (or the sticker with
the next service). SEAT dealers will carry out an individual
assessment and
detailed breakdown of the cost of the additional w
ork. The additional work
carried out is indicated in the workshop note which is attac
hed to the
invoice.Every 30,000 km•
Poly-V belt: Check condition and tens
ion; tighten if necessary (only vehi-
cles without automatic tensor)•
Fuel filter (diesel engine): Clean (only Ibiza, Córdoba a
nd Alhambra
models)•
Fuel filter (diesel engine): Replace (only biodiesel eng
ine models, or
using fuel that does not comply with the DIN EN 590
standard)

Manual gearbox and final drive: Check oil level, top up
if required

Dust and pollen filter for the passenger compartment:
Replace (only Ibiza,
Córdoba and Alhambra models)

Underbody protection: Visual inspection for damage

Headlights: Check range and, adjust if necessary
•
Sliding roof: Clean and lubricate guide railCaution

Vehicles bearing the sticker “NOT
SUITABLE FOR BIODIESEL” on the fuel
cap, cannot use biodiesel fuel.•
Consult an Authorised Service Centre for reliable infor
mation on the
possibility of using biodiesel, in
accordance with DIN EN 14214 (FAME).
