lights: Check operation.

Windscreen wiper and headlight wiper system: Check operation and look
for possible damage, fill if necessary.

Exhaust installation: Check attachments and check for leaks and damage.

Steering system ball joints: Check attachments and c heck for leaks and
damage. Check for play.
•
“Next service” label: Write the date and mileage, and att ach it to the door
frame.
•
Automatic gearbox (differential): Check the oil level, top up if necessary.
•
Automatic gearbox: Check ATF level.
•
Manual gearbox: Check the oil level (only in the case of permeability).
•
Battery: Check
•
Brake system: Check for leaks and damage.
•
Front and rear brake pads: check
•
Brake fluid level, according to brake pad wear: Check.
•
Self-diagnosis: Check fault memory in all systems.

Engine and components in engine compartment, gearbox and steering
knuckles: Check for leaks and damage (from above).

Engine oil and oil filter: Replace.
•
Haldex clutch: Replace oil.
•
Test drive: Check brake operation, handbrake, gearbo x operation,
steering system operation, kick-down (for automatic gearbox), air condi-
tioning and sliding roof.
•
Interior and glove compartment lighting, cigarette lighter, warning lights
and horn: Check operation.
•
Tyres, including the spare wheel: Check surface, tread and tyre pressure.
•
Headlights: Check adjustment.
•
Windscreen wiper and headlight wiper system: Check oper ation and look
for possible damage, fill if necessary.
•
Sliding roof: Check operation, clean guttering and lubricate guides.
•
Service interval indicator on the instrument panel: Reset.
•
Door and tailgate hinges: Lubricate.

Underbody protection: Visual check for damage
Additional workIn addition to the Inspection Service, additional main tenance jobs may have
to be carried out, depending on the conditions in wh ich your vehicle is used
and on the equipment carried. This additional work sh ould be carried out in
accordance with time/distance travelled to ensure your vehicle remains reli-
able. Your Service Centre will provide detailed informa tion about the addi-
tional work that may be necessary. This can be done indep endently of the
obligatory services, taking into account the notes in the Mai ntenance
Programme (or the label: Next service). Your SEAT Service Centre will be
happy to advise you and quote the prices for this addition al work. Additional
jobs completed are marked on the workshop sheet with the receipt.Every 7,500 km (5,000 miles)•
Engine oil and oil filter: Replace (only engines using high sulphur content
diesel fuel).

Fuel filter: Replace (only TDI engines using diesel fuel w ith a high sulphur
content).
Every 30,000 km (20,000 miles)•
Fuel filter: Replace (only diesel engines using biodies el, or using fuel that
does not comply with the DIN EN 590 standard)
Every 60,000 km (40,000 miles)•
Air filter: Clean casing and replace filter element (only 125 kW diesel
engines).
•
DSG Gearbox: Replace oil and filter.
•
Dust and pollen filter for the passenger compartment: R eplace.
•
Spark plug: Replace (except 2.0 TFSI engine)
•
Haldex clutch: Replace oil.
Every 90,000 km (60,000 miles)•
Air filter: Clean casing and replace filter element (except 125 kW diesel
engines).
•
Fuel filter: Replace (only diesel engines using fuel comp lying with the DIN
EN 590 standard)
•
Spark plug: Replace (2.0 TFSI engine)
At 90,000 km /60,000 miles (the first time), then every 30,000 km (20,000 miles)•
Camshaft timing belt: Check condition and replace if required (only petrol
engines).
