•The wiper blades should not show
any signs of cracking, splitting,
wear, contamination or deforma-
tion.
•The wiper blades should clear the
windshield without streaking or
skipping.

Turn the engine off and ensure that there is adequate ventilation before per-
forming maintenance checks.
