Use only the following oils:
• 5W-30 synthetic, replacement interval 6,000 miles under normal driving
conditions. No requirement at the first 3,000 miles.
• ILSAC GF-5, which can be identified with the ILSAC certification
mark (Starburst mark).
• Or API classification SN with the words “RESOURCE CONSERVING”.
Engine Oil Capacity
• For WRX: 5.4 US qt (5.1 liters, 4.5 Imp qt)
• For WRX STI: 4.5 US qt (4.3 liters, 3.8 Imp qt)
