The multi-information display is operated using the meter contr ol
switches.
Scroll screens

Press and hold:
Reset/Display the next screen
Press: Displays the screen reg-
istered as the top screen
When no screen has been regis-
tered, the drive information screen
will be displayed.
Press and hold: Registers the
currently displayed screen as
the top screen
When the confirmation screen is displayed, select yes to regist er the
screen. If the selected screen cannot be registered, a registra tion failure
message will be shown.
Return to the previous screen
Call sending/receiving display
Linked with the hands-free system, sending or receiving call is displayed.
For details regarding the hands-free system, refer to the “Navigation sys-
tem owner's manual”.
*: When the screen can be scrolled or different content can be displayed, a
mark, such as an arrow, will be displayed to suggest which switch to oper-
ate.

Select to display various drive data. (P. 93)

Select to display the following navigation system-linked information.
• Route guidance
• Compass display (north-up display/heading-up display)
Audio system-linked display (if equipped)
Select to enable selection of an audio source or track on the d isplay
using the meter control switches.
Driving assist system information
Select to display the operational status of the following syste ms:
• Dynamic radar cruise control ( P. 257)
• LDA (Lane Departure Alert) ( P. 249)
Warning message display
Select to display warning messages and measures to be taken if a
malfunction is detected. ( P. 488)
• When there are no current warning messages, “No Messages” is displayed.
• When there are multiple warning messages, or can be used to switch the displayed warning message.
Settings display
Select to change the meter display settings and the operation set-
tings of some vehicle functions. ( P. 95)

Pop-Up display
The pop-up display is displayed on the multi-information displa y according to
the operating conditions of the following functions:
● Route guidance display of the navigation system-linked system ( if equipped)
● Incoming call display of the hands-free phone system
The pop-up display function can be disabled.
■ Tire inflation pressure
●It may take a few minutes to display the tire inflation pressur e after the
engine switch is turned to IGNITION ON mode. It may also take a few min-
utes to display the tire inflation pressure after inflation pre ssure has been
adjusted.
● “---” may be displayed if the tire information cannot be determined due to
unfavorable radio wave conditions.
● Tire inflation pressure changes with temperature. The displayed values may
also be different from the values measured using a tire pressur e gauge.
■ Outside temperature display
In the following situations, the correct outside temperature ma y not be dis-
played, or the display may take longer than normal to change:
● When the vehicle is stopped, or moving at low speeds (less than 12 mph [20
km/h])
● When the outside temperature has changed suddenly (at the entra nce/exit
of a garage, tunnel, etc.)
● When “--” or “E” is displayed, the system may be malfunctioning. Take your
vehicle to Toyota dealer.
■ Liquid crystal display
Small spots or light spots may appear on the display. This phen omenon is
characteristic of liquid crystal displays, and there is no prob lem continuing to
use the display.

Multi-information display
Turning the RCTA function on/off.
Outside rear view mirror indica-
tors
When a vehicle approaching from
the right or left at the rear of the
vehicle is detected, both outside
rear view mirror indicators will
flash.
Navigation system screen
If a vehicle approaching from the
right or left at the rear of the vehicle
is detected, the RCTA icon ( P.
288) for the detected side will be
displayed.
RCTA buzzer
If a vehicle approaching from the right or left at the rear of the vehicle is
detected, a buzzer will sound.
The RCTA function can be enabl ed/disabled on screen of the
multi-information display. ( P. 9 5 )
When the RCTA function is disabled, the “RCTA OFF” indicator wi ll come
on. Each time the engine switch is turned off then changed to t he IGNI-
TION ON mode, the RCTA function will be enabled automatically.
RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert)
The RCTA function uses the BSM radar sensors installed on the
inner side of the rear bumper. This function is intended to ass ist
the driver in checking areas that are not easily visible when
backing up.

Operation of the RCTA function
The RCTA function uses radar
sensors to detect vehicles
approaching from the right or left at the rear of the vehicle a nd
alerts the driver of the presence of such vehicles by flashing the
outside rear view mirror indi cators and sounding a buzzer.
