Tur n signal lever
■Turn signals can be operated when
The “POWER” switch is in ON mode.
■ If the indicator flashes faster than usual
Check that a light bulb in the front or rear turn signal lights has not burned
out.
The turn signal lever can be used to show the following intention of
the driver:
Right turn
Left turn
Lane change to the right
(push and hold the lever
partway)
The right hand signals will
flash until you release the
lever.
Lane change to the left
(push and hold the lever
partway)
The left hand signals will flash
until you release the lever.

Light bulbs
You may replace the following bulbs by yourself. The difficulty level
of replacement varies depending on the bulb. As there is a danger
that components may be damaged, we recommend that replacement
is carried out by your Toyota dealer.
■Preparing for light bulb replacement
Check the wattage of the light bulb to be replaced. ( P. 506)

Remove the engine under cover bolt and clip and pull down
the engine under cover. ( P. 428)
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.
Remove the light bulb.
When installing, reverse the steps listed.

Rear turn signal lights and back-up lights
Open the back door and remove
the cover.
To prevent damage, cover the tip
of the screwdriver with a rag.
Turn the bulb base counterclock-
wise.

Remove the light bulb. Rear turn signal light
