Fluid level
The fluid level should be within the appropriate range.

Hot: Vehicle has been driven around 50 mph (80 km/h) for 20 min- utes, or slightly longer in frigid temperatures. (Fluid tempera-
ture, 140 °F - 175 °F [60 °C - 80 °C]).
Cold: Engine has not been run for about 5 hours. (Room tempera- ture, 50 °F - 85 °F [10 °C - 30 °C]).
■Checking the fluid level
Make sure to check the fluid type and prepare the necessary items.
Clean all dirt off the reservoir.
Remove the cap by turni ng it counterclockwise.
Wipe the dipstick clean.
Reinstall the cap and remove it again.
Check the fluid level.

*1: This light illuminates on the multi-information display.
*2: Driver’s seat belt buzzer:The driver’s seat belt buzzer sounds to alert the driver that h is or her seat
belt is not fastened. Once the engine switch is turned to the “ ON” or
“START” position, the buzzer sounds for 6 seconds. If the vehic le reaches
a speed of 12 mph (20 km/h), the buzzer sounds once. If the sea t belt is
still unfastened after 24 seconds, the buzzer will sound interm ittently for 10
seconds. Then, if the seat belt is still unfastened, the buzzer will sound in a
different tone for 20 more seconds.
Front passenger’s seat belt buzzer:
The front passenger’s seat belt buzzer sounds to alert the fron t passenger
that his or her seat belt is not fastened. The buzzer sounds on ce if the
vehicle reaches a speed of 12 mph (20 km/h). If the seat belt i s still unfas-
tened after 24 seconds, the buzzer will sound intermittently fo r 10 seconds.
Then, if the seat belt is still unfastened, the buzzer will sou nd in a different
tone for 20 more seconds.
Seat belt reminder light (warning buzzer)*2
Warns the driver and/or front passenger to fasten their
seat belts
 Fasten the seat belt.
If the front passenger’s s eat is occupied, the front
passenger’s seat belt also needs to be fastened to
make the warning light (wa rning buzzer) turn off.
Tire pressure warning light
When the light comes on:
Low tire inflation pressure such as
• Natural causes ( P. 4 5 3 )
• Flat tire ( P. 465)
 Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the speci-
fied level.
The light will turn off after a few minutes. In
case the light does not turn off even if the tire
inflation pressure is adjusted, have the system
checked by your Toyota dealer.
When the light comes on after blinking for 1 minute:
Malfunction in the tire p ressure warning system

Master warning light
A buzzer sounds and warning light comes on and
flashes to indicate that the master warning system has
detected a malfunction.

Inspect the appearance of the ti
re to check that the tire is not punctured.
If the tire is punctured: P. 465
If the tire is not punctured:
Carry out the following procedure after the tire temperature has lowered
sufficiently.
●Check the tire inflation pressure and adjust to the appropriate level.
●If the warning light does not go out even after several minutes , check
that the tire inflation pressure is at the specified level and carry out ini-
tialization. ( P. 4 0 7 )
The warning light may come on again if the above operations are con-
ducted without first allowing t he tire temperature to lower suf ficiently.
■The tire pressure warning light may come on due to natural caus es
The tire pressure warning light may come on due to natural caus es such
as natural air leaks and tire inflation pressure changes caused by tem-
perature.
In this case, adjusting the tire inflation pressure will turn o ff the warning
light (after a few minutes).
■When a tire is replace d with a spare tire
The temporary spare tire is not equipped with the tire pressure warning
valve and transmitter. If a tire goes flat, the tire pressure w arning light will
not turn off even though the flat tire is replaced with the tem porary spare
tire.
Replace the temporary spare tire with the repaired tire and adj ust the
proper tire inflation pressure. The tire pressure warning light will turn off
after several minutes.

■If the tire pressure warning light frequently comes on after bl inking
for 1 minute
If the tire pressure warning light frequently comes on after bl inking for
1 minute when the engine switch i s turned to the “ON” position, have it
checked by your Toyota dealer.
■ Warning buzzer
In some cases, the buzzer may not be heard because of noisy pla ce or an
audio sound.

Indicates the following:• The brake fluid level is low; or
• The brake system is malfunctioning.
 Immediately stop the vehicle in a safe place
and contact your Toyota dealer.
Indicates remaining fuel is approximately 4.0 gal.
(15.0 L, 3.3 Imp.gal.) or less
A buzzer also sounds.
 Refuel the vehicle.
Indicates that the tire inflation pressure is low
Check the tire inflation pressure, and
adjust to the appropriate level.
Indicates that the washer fluid level is low
 Add washer fluid.
Indicates that intuitive parking assist sensor is
dirty or covered with ice (if equipped)
Clean the sensor.
Indicates that the headlight switch is in or
position (with the key removed and the
driver’s door opened) A buzzer also sounds.
 Turn the lights off.
Indicates that the moon roof is not fully closed
(with the engine switch off, and the driver’s door
open)
A buzzer also sounds.
 Close the moon roof.
