After a device has been con-
nected to the vehicle Wi-Fi
®
access point once, the access
point information will remain on
the device, enabling it automati-
cally connect the next time the
device is brought within access
point range, unless the access
point name or password is
changed.
To change the access point
name and password, select
“Refresh” If changed while a
device is connected to the
access point, the connection will
be canceled.

mode
The screen of a Miracast™-
compatible device (with
Android OS version 4.4 or
later) can be displayed on
the rear seat entertainment
system display.
This function is not avail-
able if the smartphone is
not certified by Wi-Fi Alli-
ance as Miracast™ device.
Refer to the instruction
manual and other documen-
tation included with the
external device to determine
whether it supports Mira-
cast™.
Press the “INPUT” button

tem source is changed to a differ-

●Use Wi-Fi® devices only when
safe and legal to do so.
●Your audio unit is fitted with Wi-
Fi® antennas. People with
implantable cardiac pacemak-
ers, cardiac resynchronization
therapy-pacemakers or implant-
able cardioverter defibrillators
should maintain a reasonable
distance between themselves
and the Wi-Fi
® antennas. The
radio waves may affect the
operation of such devices.
●Before using Wi-Fi® devices,
users of any electrical medical
device other than implantable
cardiac pacemakers, cardiac
resynchronization therapy-
pacemakers or implantable car-
dioverter defibrillators should
consult the manufacturer of the
device for information about its
operation under the influence of
radio waves. Radio waves could
have unexpected e ffects on the
operation of such medical

Select to disconnect the
Miracast™ device.
●With Miracast™, the screen of the
Miracast™-compatible device is
sent unmodified. Therefore, if
video playback is stopped on the
device that is sending data via
Miracast™, the video on the rear
seat display also stops.
●When Bluetooth® (Bluetooth®
audio, hands-free function or con-
nected services) is being used in
the front seats, Miracast™ cannot
be used on the rear seat display.

●When the A/V input port is not in
use, keep the A/V input port
cover closed. Inserting any-
thing other than an appropriate

BD-ROMs, BD-Rs, BD-REs,
DVD-ROMs, DVD-Rs and
DVD-RWs.
 Compatible disc formats: Disc
formats that can be used for
playback are BD video for-
mats, BDAV formats, AVCHD
formats, DVD video formats
and Video CD formats.
 This player conforms to
NTSC/PAL color TV formats.
 Region codes: Some BD/DVD
video discs have a region
code indicating the region in
which you can use the
BD/DVD video disc. If the BD
video disc is not labeled “A” or
“ABC” or if the DVD video disc
is not labeled “1” or “ALL”, you
cannot use it on this player. If
you attempt to play BD/DVD
video discs with incompatible
region codes on this player,

BD/DVD video discs

an error message appears on
the screen. Even if the
BD/DVD video disc does not
have a region code, in some
cases it cannot be used. Even
if a BD video disc has a com-
patible region code, depend-
ing on the intention of the
maker, the BD video disc may
not be able to play in a spe-
cific region or country.
 When storing content on BD-
R, BD-RE, DVD-R or DVD-
RW discs, they must be final-
ized using a recorder. Discs
that are not finalized cannot
be played by this system.
 Discs that are recorded with
multi session cannot be
played by this system.
 BD-Live™ is not supported.
 Blu-ray 3D™ discs is not sup-
ported in 3D playback, it will
play back in 2D.
Parental controls
This feature limits what can be
viewed in conformity with the level
of restrictions of the country. The
level of restrictions varies depend-
ing on the BD/DVD video disc.
Some BD/DVD video discs cannot
be played at all, or violent scenes
are skipped or replaced with other
scenes.
