VENZA_OM_OM73030U_(U) CAUTIONObserve the following precautions.
Failure to do so may cause the driver’s floor mat to slip, possibly interfering
with the pedals while driving. An unexpectedly high speed may result or it may
become difficult to stop the vehicle. This could lead to an accident, resulting in
death or serious injury.
■ When installing the driver’s floor mat
● Do not use floor mats designed for other models or different model year
vehicles, even if they are Toyota Genuine floor mats.
● Only use floor mats designed for the driver’s seat.
● Always install the floor mat securely using the retaining hooks (clips) pro-
vided.
● Do not use two or more floor mats on top of each other.
● Do not place the floor mat bottom-side up or upside-down.
■ Before driving
● Check that the floor mat is securely
fixed in the correct place with all the
provided retaining hooks (clips). Be
especially careful to perform this check
after cleaning the floor.

VENZA_OM_OM73030U_(U) If your vehicle needs to be towed
Situations when it is necessary to contact dealers before towing
The following may indicate a problem with your transmission. Contact
your Toyota dealer or commercial towing service before towing.
● The engine is running, but the vehicle does not move.
● The vehicle makes an abnormal sound. If towing is necessary, we recommen d having your vehicle towed by
your Toyota dealer or commercial towing service, using a wheel-lift
type truck or a flatbed truck.
Use a safety chain system for all to wing, and abide by all state/pro-
vincial and local laws.
2WD models
If towing your vehicle with a wheel-lift type truck from the front,
the vehicle’s rear wheels and ax les must be in good conditions.
( P. 556, 558)
If they are damaged, use a towing dolly or flatbed truck.
AWD models
If towing your vehicle with a wheel-lift type truck, use a towing

The steering wheel may become extrem ely heavy. If the steering wheel
becomes heavier than usual when operating, hold firmly and operate
using more force than usual.■
If the tire pressure warning light comes on
Be sure to observe the following precautions. Failure to do so could
cause loss of vehicle control and result in death or serious injury. ●
Stop your vehicle in a safe place as soon as possible. Adjust the tire
inflation pressure immediately. ●
If the tire pressure warning light comes on even after tire inflation pres-
sure adjustment, it is pr obable that you have a flat tire. Check the tires.
If the tire is flat, change to the spare tire and have the flat tire repaired
by the nearest Toyota dealer.
●
Avoid abrupt maneuvering and braking. If the vehicle tires deteriorate,
you could lose control of the steering wheel or the brakes.
