Illuminates for a few seconds after the ignition is switched on. The system is
ready for operation when the control
indicator extinguishes.
If the control indicator does not
extinguish after a few seconds, or if it illuminates while driving, there is afault in the ABS. The brake system
remains operational but without ABS
regulation.

Gear shifting R with the number of a higher gear is
indicated, when upshifting is
recommended for fuel saving
reasons.

considerably more force is needed
to brake and steer. During an
Autostop the brake servo unit will
still be operational.
Do not remove key until vehicle is stationary, otherwise the steeringwheel lock could engage
unexpectedly.

vehicle be towed to a workshop.

and adjusts its brightness.
Welcome Lighting : Activates or
deactivates and changes the duration of welcome lighting.

deactivates and changes the
duration of exit lighting.
● Remote Lock, Unlock, Start
Remote Door Unlock : Changes
the configuration to unlock the

started by releasing the brake

● Press Start/Stop button.
● Depress brake pedal.
● Press Start/Stop button.
● Keep the brake pedal depressed until the activation of the hybrid
system is confirmed by the
illumination of READY in the
instrument cluster and an
accoustic signal.
Emergency shut off during driving
If the engine needs to be switched off during driving in case of emergency,
press Start/Stop for 5 seconds.9Danger
Switching off the engine during
driving may cause loss of power
support for brake and steering
systems. Assistance systems and
airbag systems are disabled.
Lighting and brake lights will
extinguish. Therefore power down the engine and ignition while
driving only when required in case of emergency.
