Use the control on the side of the seat cushionto adjust the lumbar support.
Multifunction control, in vehicles with four-way lumbarsupport*.
Control in vehicles with two-way lumbar support*.
Lumbar support is adjusted using the multifunc-tion control in vehicles with four-way lumbar sup-port*, or the round button in vehicles with two-way lumbar support*. The control is located onthe side of the seat cushion. Depending on theselected equipment level, the lumbar support canbe adjusted forward/rearward and up/down(four-way lumbar support) or forward/backward(two-way lumbar support).

1. Activate the multifunction control by turning
the control upward/downward. The seatsettings view will appear in the center dis-play.

The front passenger seat can be adjusted fromthe driver's seat.

Activating the function
The function is activated via the function view inthe center display:
Tap the Adjust PassengerSeat button to activate.

Adjust passenger seat
The driver must adjust the passenger seat within10 seconds of activating the function. If noadjustment is made within this time, the functionwill be deactivated.
The driver adjusts the passenger seat using thecontrols on the driver's seat:

Move the passenger seat forward/rearwardby moving the control forward/rearward.
Change the backrest tilt of the passengerseat by moving the control forward/back-ward.

Folding down the rear seatbackrests
The rear seat backrest is split into two sections.The two sections can be folded forward individu-ally.
WARNING
Adjust the seat and ensure it locks intoposition before driving. Use caution whenadjusting the seat. Uncontrolled or care-less adjustments could lead to injury.
Long objects must always be securelytied down to help prevent injury or dam-age in the event of sudden braking.
Always turn off the engine and apply theparking brake when loading or unloadingthe vehicle.
Put the gear selector in P to help preventthe gear selector from being inadvertentlymoved.

CAUTION
When the backrest is folded down, make surethere are no objects in the rear seat, and theseat belts are not buckled. Otherwise there isa risk of damage to the upholstery.

Ball game mode
This feature means that a main FM station (HD1)will broadcast live events, where the content ofthe programming is more important than soundquality, in analog mode only to help prevent thedelay between analog and digital broadcasting.The HD Radio symbol will be white during livebroadcasts and "Live" will be displayed next tothe symbol.

Benefits of digital broadcasting
Better sound (FM sounds near CD quality).
Some FM frequencies offer a greater num-ber of listening choices through "multicast-ing" (consisting of a frequency's main chan-nel and any sub-channels that may also beavailable on that particular frequency.)
When receiving a digital signal there is nomultipath disturbance or hisses/pops/crack-ling due to outside influences.

How HD Radio ™ Technology
broadcasting works
HD Radio works similarly to conventional radioand broadcasts of this type are available in manyareas of the United States. However, there are afew key differences:
Instead of transmitting one analog signal,stations send out a bundled signal - bothanalog and digital.
An HD Radio receiver can receive both digi-tal and analog broadcasts. Depending on theterrain and location of the vehicle (which willinfluence the signal strength), the receiverwill determine which signal to receive.

Activating and deactivating the HD
Radio™
HD Radio is deactivated when the car leaves thefactory.
When listening to an HD Radio station and driv-ing through areas with weak HD signals (fringeareas), you may experience that the radio repeat-edly switches between analog/digital and digital/analog reception. If this happens, it may be desir-able to switch HD off.
Carry out the following to activate or deactivateHD Radio:
1.Drag down the top view and tap onSettings.
2.Press Media and FM Radio.
3.Press HD Radio FM to activate/deactivatethe function.
If HD radio is deactivated, the radio will be unableto receive digital broadcasts but it will continue tofunction as a conventional radio (analog FMreceiver). Please note that when HD is switchedoff, it will not be possible to tune in to sub-chan-nels.
Note that if you activate or deactivate HD Radioonly the selected wavelength band is affected.

Replacing windshield wiper blades
The wiper blades help remove water from thewindshield and rear window. Along with thewasher fluid, they clean the glass and helpimprove visibility while driving. The windshieldand rear window wiper blades can be replaced.

Replacing wiper blades
1. Raise the wiper arms to the service position.Service position is activated/deactivated viathe function view in the center display whenthe car is stationary and the windshield wip-ers are not on.
2. Put the wiper blade in removal positionby folding it out from the wiper arm until itclicks.
3. Press and hold the button on the wiperblade attachment and pull the wiper blade
straight out , parallel with the wiper arm.
4.Slide in the new wiper blade until it clicksinto place.
5. Fold the blade back toward the arm until itclicks into place. The blade is no longer in itsremoval position and can once again bemoved.
6. Check to make sure the wiper blade issecurely in place.
7. Press the wiper blade back against the wind-shield.

Wiper blades come in varying lengths NOTE
When changing wiper blades, make sure thatthe blades are of different lengths. The bladeon the driver's side is longer than the one onthe passenger side.
