Main switch
Functions of the respective switch positions are as
follows:
ON:
Engine can be started only at this position and the
headlight and taillight come on when the light
switch is on.
OFF:
All electrical circuits are switched off. The key can
be removed in this position.

Contacteur à clé

teur en marche. Le phare et le feu arrière s’allument
quand le contacteur d’éclairage est activé.
OFF (arrêt):
Tous les circuits électriques sont coupés. La clé peut être
retirée.

Las funciones correspondientes a cada una de las
posiciones del interruptor son las siguientes:
ON:
El motor sólo se puede poner en marcha con el inte-
rruptor en esta posición; si está conectado el inte-
rruptor de cambio de luces se encienden el faro y las
luces traseras.
OFF:
Se desconectan todos los circuitos eléctricos. En
esta posición puede extraerse la llave de contacto.

This indicator light comes on along with the differ-
ential gear lock indicator in the display when the
differential gear lock switch is set to the “4WD-
LOCK” position.

does not show the speed while riding, have a

This indicator comes on when the “2WD”/“4WD”
switch is set to the “4WD” position. The differential
lock indicator “DIFF.LOCK” in the four-wheel-drive
indicator also comes on when the “4WD”/“LOCK”
switch is set to the “4WD-LOCK” position.NOTE:_ Due to the synchronizing mechanism in the differ-
ential gear case, the four-wheel drive indicator
may not come on until the ATV starts moving. _

Cet indicateur s’allume lorsque le contacteur de traction
“2WD”/“4WD” est placé à la position “4WD”. L’indica-
teur de blocage du différentiel “DIFF.LOCK” s’affiche
dans l’indicateur 4x4 lorsque le contacteur de traction
“4WD”/“LOCK” est placé à la position “4WD-LOCK”.N.B.:_ En raison du mécanisme de synchronisation du différen-
tiel, l’indicateur 4x4 ne s’allume cependant pas toujours
tant que le véhicule est à l’arrêt. _

atrás “R”. NOTA:_ Si la luz indicadora parpadea o si el velocímetro no
muestra la velocidad mientras circula, solicite a un
concesionario Yamaha que le compruebe el circuito
del sensor de velocidad. _

palanca de selección de marcha en la posición “P”

Este indicador se enciende cuando el selector
“2WD/4WD” se ajusta en la posición “4WD”.
El indicador de bloqueo del diferencial “DIFF.LOCK”,
del indicador de tracción en las cuatro ruedas, tam-
bién se enciende cuando se pone el selector
“4WF”/“LOCK” en la posición “4WD-LOCK”.NOTA:_ Debido al mecanismo de sincronización del cárter de
engranajes del diferencial, es posible que no se en-
cienda el indicador de tracción en las cuatro ruedas
esta luz hasta que se mueva el ATV. _

Coolant temperature warning light “”
When the coolant temperature reaches a specified
level, this light comes on to warn that the coolant
temperature is too hot. If the light comes on during
operation, stop the engine as soon as it is safe to
do so and allow the engine to cool down for about
10 minutes.CAUTION:_

The engine may overheat if the ATV is
overloaded. If this happens, reduce the
load to specification.


After restarting, make sure that the light is
out. Continuous use while the light is on
may cause damage to the engine.
