The bow rope hole is used to attach a rope to
the watercraft when transporting, mooring, or
towing it in an emergency.

The stern rope hole is located at the stern of
the watercraft.
The stern rope hole is used to attach a rope to
the watercraft when mooring it.
EJU31660Engine overheat warning system
This model is equipped with an engine over-
heat warning system.
If the engine starts to overheat, the engine
speed will be limited to about 3400 r/min.
If this occurs, immediately reduce the engine
speed, return to shore, and then check for wa-
ter discharge at the cooling water pilot outlet
while the engine is running. If there is no dis-
charge of water, shut the engine off, and thencheck the intake grate and impeller for clog-
ging.

Before attempting to remove weeds or de-
bris from the intake grate or impeller, shut
the engine off and remove the clip from the
engine shut-off switch. Severe injury or
death could result from coming in contact
with the rotating parts of the jet pump.
