Fuel gaugeThe fuel gauge indicates the quantity of
the remaining gasoline in the tank. The
gauge needle moves from “F” (Full) to
“E” (Empty) as the fuel level decreases.
When the needle moves to the “E” po-
sition, add fuel as soon as possible.

Diagnosis deviceThis model is equipped with a self-di-
agnosis device for the electrical cir-
cuits.
If some trouble should occur in a cir-
cuit, the engine trouble indicator light
will come on or the fuel indicator light
will start flashing.
To prevent engine damage, have your
motorcycle serviced by a Yamaha
dealer as soon as possible if either of
these conditions occur.
