Teleskopgabel
1. Sämtliche Bauteile mit frischem
Lösungsmittel reinigen.
2. Das Dämpferrohr komplett aus-
dehnen.
3. Einfüllen:
Gabelöl
1
(in Dämpferrohr)
ACHTUNG:
Ausschließlich Öl der empfohle-
nen Sorte verwenden. Die Ver-
wendung anderer Ölsorten kann
die Funktion der Teleskopgabel
erheblich beeinträchtigen.
Unter keinen Umständen Fremd-
körper in das Gabelrohr eindrin-
gen lassen.
Empfohlene Ölsorte
Gabelöl “S1”
Füllmenge

4. Nach dem Befüllen, das Dämp-
ferrohr
1 mehrmals langsam um
ca. 200 mm (7,9 in) ein- und
austauchen, um es zu entlüften.
HINWEIS:
Darauf achten, dass der vorgeschrie-
bene Abstand nicht überschritten
wird. Eine Bewegung von über
200 mm (7,9 in) verursacht Eindrin-
gen von Luft. In diesem Fall müssen
die Schritte 2–4 wiederholt werden. ASSEMBLAGE ET MONTAGE
Fourche complète
1. Laver tous les éléments à l’aide de
solvant propre.
2. Etirer totalement l’amortisseur com-
plet.
3. Remplir:
Huile de fourche 1
Dans l’amortisseur complet.
ATTENTION:
Toujours utiliser l’huile de fourche
recommandée. L’utilisation d’autres
huiles peut compromettre le bon
fonctionnement de la fourche.
Ne laisser en aucun cas pénétrer de
corps étrangers dans la fourche.
Huile recommandée:
Huile de fourche “S1”
Capacité d’huile:

4. Après le remplissage, pomper lente-
ment l’amortisseur 1 de haut en
bas (course d’environ 200 mm ou
7,9 in) plusieurs fois pour purger
l’air de l’amortisseur.
N.B.:
Veiller à ne pas dépasser la pleine
course. Une course de 200 mm (7,9 in)
ou plus fera entrer de l’air. Dans ce cas,
répéter les étapes 2 à 4.MONTAGGIO E INSTALLAZIONE
Gruppo forcella anteriore
1. Lavare tutti i componenti con sol-
vente pulito.
2. Estendere completamente il gruppo
ammortizzatore.
3. Riempire:
Olio forcella anteriore 1
Sul gruppo ammortizzatore.
ATTENZIONE:
Assicurarsi di utilizzare olio racco-
mandato per forcelle. L’impiego di
oli diversi può diminuire eccessiva-
mente l’efficienza della forcella
anteriore.
Evitare accuratamente l’entrata di
materiali estranei nella forcella
anteriore.
Olio raccomandato:
Olio sospensione “S1”

4. Dopo il riempimento, spingere len-
tamente il gruppo ammortizzatore
1 verso l’alto e verso il basso
(corsa di circa 200 mm (7,9 in)
diverse volte, per spurgare l’aria del
gruppo ammortizzatore.
NOTA:
Prestare attenzione a non premere eccessi-
vamente. Una corsa di 200 mm (7,9 in) o
superiore provoca l’entrata dell’aria. In
questo caso, ripetere le operazioni da 2 a 4.

Standard oil level:

6. Tighten:

NOTE:
Fully finger tighten the locknut onto the
damper assembly.
7. Loosen:
Compression damping adjuster 1
NOTE:
Loosen the compression damping adjuster
finger tight.
Record the set position of the adjuster (the
amount of turning out the fully turned in posi-
tion).
8. Install:
Base valve 1
To damper assembly 2.
NOTE:
First bring the damper rod pressure to a maxi-
mum. Then install the base valve while releas-
ing the damper rod pressure.

kern.
Die Einstellposition notieren (d. h.
die Anzahl Umdrehungen aus der
völlig hineingedrehten Stellung).
8. Montieren:
Gabelventil

HINWEIS:
Zunächst das Dämpferrohr komplett
komprimieren. Daraufhin das Gabel-
ventil montieren und dabei das
Dämpferrohr freigeben. 5. Mesurer:
Niveau d’huile (gauche et droit)

7. Desserrer:

N.B.:
Desserrer à la main le dispositif de
réglage de l’amortissement à la com-
pression.
Noter le réglage du dispositif de
réglage de l’amortissement à la
détente (le nombre de tours à partir de
la position vissée à fond).
8. Monter:
Soupape de base 1
Sur l’amortisseur complet 2.
N.B.:
Amener d’abord la pression de la tige
d’amortissement au maximum. Monter
ensuite la soupape de base tout en libé-
rant la pression de la tige d’amortisse-
ment.5. Misurare:
Livello olio (sinistro e destro) a

Regolare.
Livello olio standard:

Allentare il dispositivo di regolazione
smorzamento in compressione.
Annotare la posizione impostata del
dispositivo di regolazione (il numero
di rotazioni verso l’esterno rispetto
alla posizione di avvitamento com-
pleto).
8. Installare:
Valvola base 1
Sul gruppo ammortizzatore 2.
NOTA:
Innanzitutto portare al massimo la pres-
sione dell’asta pompante. Quindi instal-
lare la valvola base rilasciando la
pressione dell’asta pompante.

9. Check that the damper assembly is fully
stretched. Not fully stretched → Repeat the
steps 2 to 8.
10. Tighten:
Base valve 1
NOTE:
Hold the damper assembly with the cap bolt
ring wrench 2 and use the cap bolt wrench 3
to tighten the base valve with specified torque.

11. After filling, pump the damper assembly 1
slowly up and down more than 10 times to
distribute the fork oil.
12. While protecting the damper assembly 1
with a rag and compressing fully, allow
excessive oil to overflow on the base valve
side.
CAUTION:
Take care not to damage the damper
assembly.
13. Allow the overflowing oil to escape at the
hole a in the damper assembly.

10. Festziehen:

11. Nach dem Befüllen des Gabel-
rohrs das Dämpferrohr
1 min-
destens 10 Mal langsam ein-
und austauchen, damit das
Gabelöl sich verteilt.
12. Das Dämpferrohr
1 mit einem
Lappen abdecken und komplett
komprimieren; dabei überschüs-
siges Öl am Gabelventil-Ende
ausweichen lassen.
ACHTUNG:
Darauf achten, dass das Dämpfer-
rohr nicht beschädigt wird.
13. Das überschüssige Öl aus der
Bohrung
a im Dämpferrohr aus-
laufen lassen. 9. Vérifier que l’amortisseur est com-
plètement étendu. Si pas complète-
ment étendu → Répéter les étapes 2
à 8.
10. Serrer:
Soupape de base 1
N.B.:
Maintenir l’amortisseur à l’aide de la clé
annulaire pour boulon capuchon 2 et
utiliser la clé pour boulon capuchon 3
pour serrer la soupape de base au couple
spécifié.

11. Après le remplissage, effectuer plus
de 10 pompages lents de l’amortis-
seur 1, vers le haut et vers le bas,
pour distribuer l’huile de fourche.
12. Protéger l’amortisseur 1 à l’aide
d’un chiffon et le comprimer com-
plètement pour permettre à l’excé-
dent d’huile de s’écouler du côté de
la soupape de base.
ATTENTION:
Veiller à ne pas endommager l’amor-
tisseur.
13. Laisser l’huile s’écouler par le trou
a de l’amortisseur.9. Controllare che il gruppo ammortiz-
zatore sia completamente teso. Non
teso completamente → Ripetere le
operazioni da 2 a 8.
10. Serrare:
Valvola base 1
NOTA:
Tenere il gruppo ammortizzatore con la
chiave ad anello per tappo filettato 2 e
utilizzare la chiave per tappo filettato 3
per serrare la valvola base secondo la
coppia specificata.

11. Dopo il riempimento, spingere len-
tamente il gruppo ammortizzatore
1 verso l’alto e verso il basso per
più di dieci volte per distribuire
l’olio forcella.
12. Proteggendo il gruppo ammortizza-
tore 1 con un panno e comprimen-
dolo completamente, far traboccare
l’olio in eccesso sul lato della val-
vola base.
ATTENZIONE:
Fare attenzione a non danneggiare il
gruppo ammortizzatore.
13. Lasciare fuoriuscire l’olio traboc-
cato dal foro a nel gruppo ammor-
tizzatore.

14. Check:
Damper assembly smooth movement
Tightness/binding/rough spots → Repeat
the steps 2 to 13.
15. Install:
Dust seal 1
Stopper ring 2
Oil seal 3
Oil seal washer 4
Slide metal 5
To inner tube 6.
NOTE:
Apply the fork oil on the inner tube.
When installing the oil seal, use vinyl seat a
with fork oil applied to protect the oil seal lip.
Install the oil seal with its manufacture’s
marks or number facing the axle holder side.
Install the oil seal washer with its projections
b facing upward.
16. Install:
Piston metal 1
NOTE:
Install the piston metal onto the slot on inner
tube.
17. Install:

HINWEIS:
Das Gleitrohr mit Gabelöl bestrei-
chen.
Zum Einbau des Dichtrings ein mit
Gabelöl bestrichenes Stück Vinyl
a verwenden, um die Dichtring-
lippe nicht zu beschädigen.
Den Dichtring so einbauen, dass
die Herstellerbeschriftung oder
Teilenummer zur Achshalterung
gerichtet ist.
Die Dichtring-Beilagscheibe so
einbauen, dass deren Haltenasen
b nach oben gerichtet sind.

HINWEIS:
Der Kolbenring muss in der entspre-
chenden Nut am Gleitrohr sitzen.

protéger la lèvre de la bague d’étan-
chéité.
Monter la bague d’étanchéité en
veillant à placer les marques d’usine
ou les numéros du côté du support
d’axe.
Monter la rondelle de bague d’étan-
chéité en orientant ses ergots b vers
le haut.
16. Monter:
Bague coulissante de piston

N.B.:
Installer la bague coulissante de piston
sur la fente du tube plongeur.
17. Monter:

Quando s’installa un paraolio, utiliz-
zare una guarnizione vinilica a e
applicare olio forcella per proteggere
il labbro del paraolio.
Installare il paraolio con i contrassegni
o i numeri identificativi del produttore
rivolti verso il supporto asse.
Installare la rondella paraolio con le
sporgenze b rivolte verso l’alto.
16. Installare:
Guarnizione metallica del pistone

NOTA:
Installare la guarnizione metallica del
pistone nella fessura sul tubo di forza.
17. Installare:

CAUTION:
To install the damper assembly into the
inner tube, hold the inner tube aslant. If the
inner tube is held vertically, the damper
assembly may fall into it, damaging the
valve inside.
26. Loosen:
Rebound damping adjuster 1
NOTE:
Loosen the rebound damping adjuster finger
tight.
Record the set position of the adjuster (the
amount of turning out the fully turned in posi-
tion).
