or button, and enter your
selection by pressing the SEL/
RESET button.
When you turn the ignition switch to
LOCK (0) and release it, or remove
the built-in key f rom the ignition
switch, the steering wheel
automatically moves f ully in and up.
You can turn this feature on or off.
To exit this mode without changing
the current settings, select EXIT,
and press the SEL/RESET button.
When you unlock the doors by
pressing the button on the remote or
by grabbing the driver’s door handle
while carrying the remote, the
driver’s ID (Driver 1 or Driver 2) is
recognized, and the driver’s seat, the
steering wheel, and the outside
mirror positions move to their
memorized positions.
You can turn this feature on or off. The conf irmation screen is shown
f or 2 seconds, then the CUSTOMIZE
ENTRY screen returns.

exterior lights will blink twice.

Auto Door Unlock
You can select f rom three possible
settings f or auto door unlock:

you move the shif t lever to Park.

The auto door lock is deactivated all
the time.
Select the desired condition by

Keyless Lock Acknowledgment
Door Lock Mode
If you unlock the doors by pressing
the button on the remote, you can
select whether the driver’s door
unlocks or all the doors unlock.
Select the desired mode by pressing
the or button, and enter your

RESET button.

When you press the LOCK button
on the remote a second time within 5
seconds after you lock the doors, the
hood, and the trunk with the remote,
a beeper will sound and the exterior
lights will blink once to verif y that
the doors are locked and the security
system is ready.

beeper will sound twice and the
exterior lights will blink twice to
verif y that the doors are unlocked
and the security system is turned of f .

sound and the exterior lights to blink,
select OFF by pressing the or

The windshield wiper arms have two
parked positions: winter and summer.
In the winter position, the arms sit
slightly above the edge of the hood.
This reduces the possibility of
damage to the wiper arms or
windshield wiper motor by a build-up
of snow and ice.A heavy build-up of snow or ice on
the wiper arms will cause them to
automatically park in the winter
position. Adjust the wiper arms to the winter
position by holding both arms as
shown in the illustration at the same
time. Pull on the arm, parallel to the
windshield, until it locks in the
higher position.To return to the summer position,
pushthesameareaof botharmsthe
other direction.
