Cockpit over view
The short -term memory collects driving informa­
tion from the time the ignition is switched on un­
til it is switched off . If you cont inue driv ing with­
in two hours after switching the ignition off, the
new values are included when calculat ing the cur­
rent tr ip informat ion.
Unlike the short-term memory, the long-term
memory is not erased automat ically. You can se­
lect the time period for evaluat ing trip informa­
tion yourself .
Fuel con sumpti on
The current fue l consumption can be shown us­
ing a bar graph
cc> fig. 14. The average cons ump­
tion stored in the short-term memory is also dis­
played. If the bars are green or the gray tone on
the bars changes (depending on the equipment),
your veh icle is sav ing fuel by the following func­
tion:
- Recupe ration : electrical energy can be stored in
the ve hicle battery when the vehicle is coasting
o r driving downhi ll. The bar will move toward
0 /0.

ment that is currently affecting fuel consumption
is listed in the first tab (on-board comp ute r) . The
d isp lay shows up to three ene rgy consumers @

listed first. If more than three items using power

are switched on, the eq uipment that is c urren tly
using the most power is disp layed .

Introduction
Applies to vehicles with Aud i connect vehicle control
With the Audi connect vehicle control services l) ,
you can access various information or use individ­
ual functions in the
Audi MMI connect app or in
myAudi .
Audi connect vehicle control includes the follow­
ing services:

functions only have limited availability after

- The services are provided through a SIM
card installed in the vehicle . The cost of the
call and data connections is included in the
price for the services. Services are provided
assuming that the cell phone network re­
quired for the installed S IM card is funct ion­
i ng and ready to operate. The available serv­
ic es set by Audi AG are only available within
the cell phone network coverage area for
the cell phone service provider selected by
Audi AG .

Creating and verifying a user account

Setting a key user in the vehicle
Requirements: the ignition must be switched on .
Another key user must not be set in the vehicle .

Channel sorting (Siriu sXM* )
You can set the station sort ing for SiriusXM sta­
tion lists* by:
- Channel number : the stations are sorted in as ­
cending order according to their cha nnel num­
ber.
- Channel name : the stations are listed in a lp ha­
betica l order.
- First category, then channel number : the sta­
tions are sorted by their category and then by
their channe l numbers.

Cat egory filter (Siriu sXM* )
The stations shown in t he s ta ti on list c an be fi l­
t ered by your personal prefe re nces and by pro­
gram type. The program categories that you can
select depend on what is offered by yo ur provid ­
er. Select the
All catego ries option to deactivate
all filter opt ions and disp lay all ava ilable stations
in the sate llite station list .

Subscription status (SiriusXM )*
This opt io n is available when your subscription is
about to expire or has already expired . The expi ­
ration date fo r your license is displayed .
Call to SiriusXM *: the contact info rmat ion for
your sate llite rad io prov ider is displayed . To call
your satellite rad io prov ider using the MMI, press
Call to SiriusXM *.

Service interval display
The service interval display detects when your ve­
hicle is due for service.
Checking service int ervals
You can check the remaining distance or time un ­
til the next oil change or next inspection in the
Infotainment system .

Resetting the indicator
An author ized Audi dealer or author ized A udi
Serv ice Facility will rese t the serv ice interval d is­
p lay after performing serv ice .
I f you have changed the oil yourself, you must re­
set the oil change interva l.

& chec ks > Service interval s > Reset oil change
interval.
If an oil change or inspection is due, you can ac­
cess it in the Infotainment system. The display
wo rks in two stages:
-Servic e reminde r: after a certain distance is
driven, a message appears in the inst rument
cluster d isp lay every time the ign ition is switch­
ed on. The rema ining distance and t ime is d is­
played br iefly.
-Service due : if your vehicle has reached a serv­
ice i nterval, a message appears briefly after
swi tching the igni tion on.

- Only reset the oil change indicato r if the oil
was changed.
- Fo llow ing the service i ntervals is c ritical to
maintain ing the service life a nd va lue of
you r vehicle, especia lly the engine. Even if

the mileage on the vehicle is low, do not ex ­
ceed the time for the next service .
