Climatecontrolsystem
Yourvehiclehasadeluxeautomaticclimatecon-
trolsystemwith3zoneswherethetemperature,
airdistribution,andairsupply can besetsepa-
ratelyontheleftfrontside,therightfrontside,
andintherear.
Theclimatecontrolsystemwarms,coolsandre-
moveshumidityfromtheairinthevehicleinteri-
or.Itisthemosteffectivewhenthewindowsand
panoramicglassroof*areclosed.Ifthereisa
build-upofheatinsidethevehicle,ventilation
canhelptospeedupthecoolingprocess.
Inallheatingmodefunctions,exceptfordefrost,
thebloweronlyswitchestoahigherspeedonce
theenginecoolanthasreachedasufficienttem-
perature.
Pollutantfilter
Thepollutantfilterremovespollutantssuchas
dustandpollenfromtheair.
Keyrecognition
Theclimatecontrolsettingsareautomatically
storedandassignedtothevehiclekeythatisin
use.

Youcanusetherockerswitches(2)toadjustthe
ventswheretheairwillflowoutof.Pressthe
rockerswitches(2)repeatedlyuntilthedesired
airdistributionsettingisdisplayedintheclimate
controlsystemcontrols.Tohavetheairdistribu-
tionregulatedautomatically,pressoneofthe
knobs@).
SYNC]Synchronization
Usetherockerswitch ()toselectthefunction.
Whensynchronizationisswitchedon,theset-
tingsforthedriver'ssideareappliedtothefront
passenger'ssideandtherear(exceptforseat
heating/ventilation*).Whenthesettingsonthe
frontpassenger'ssideorinthereararechanged,
thesynchronizationisautomaticallyswitchedoff
and3-zoneappearsinthedisplay.
SETREAR]function
Usetherockerswitch ()toselectthefunction.
Whenthefunctionisswitchedon,youcanadjust
allsettingsfortherearusingtheclimatecontrol
systemcontrolsinthecockpit.Therearclimate
controlsystemcontrolscannotbeoperatedat
thesametime.Thisfunctionswitchesoffauto-
maticallyafteracertainperiodoftimeorafter
leavingthemenu.

Pressingtheabuttonswitchestheseatheating
onatthehighestsetting(level3).TheLEDsindi-
catethetemperaturelevel.Toreducethetem-
perature,pressthebuttonagain.Toswitchthe
seatheatingoff,pressthebuttonrepeatedlyun-
tiltheLEDturnsoff.

Youcanactivatetheresidualheatfunctionwhen
theignitionisswitchedoffbypressingtheknob

secondsifthedoorsareclosed,thedriver'ssafe-
tybeltisfastened,andthebrakepedalispress-

Ifyouleavethevehiclelongerthan30seconds,
theignitionwillswitchoffautomaticallytopre-
vent thevehiclebatteryfromdraining.Ifthisis
thecase,themessageStart/stopsystem:igni-
tionwillbeswitchedoffin30swillappearinthe
instrumentclusterand,ifthelowbeamhead-
lightsareswitchedon,theparkinglightswill
switchoninstead.Theparkinglightswillswitch
offafterapproximately30minutesorwhenyou
lockthevehicle.
Theignitionalsoswitchesoffwhenyoulockthe
vehiclefromtheoutsideduringaStopphase.
IftheStart/Stopsystemhasnotturnedoffthe
engineorifyouhave switchedtheStart/Stopsys-
temoffmanually, theenginewillcontinuetorun
andtheignitionwillnotswitchoffautomatically.
Toreducetheriskofasphyxiation,neverallow
theenginetoruninconfinedspaces.
Ifyouleavethevehiclewiththe"D/S"or"R"
selectorleverpositionengaged,theparking
brakeisautomaticallyset.
