Adjusting the armrest
)Press the control located under the frontend of the armrest to release it.)Move it to the low position. )Raise it notch by notch to reach the desired position.
To place the armrest in the ver tical position,
raise it and push it backwards beyond the pointof resistance.

Head restraint height adjustment
)To raise the head restraint, pull it upwards. )To remove the head restraint, press thelug A
and pull the head restraint upwards.)To put the head restraint back in place,
engage the head restraint stems in the
openings keeping them in line with the seat back. )To lower the head restraint, press the lug Aand the head restraint at the same time.
Additional adjustments
The head restraint is fitted with a framewith notches which prevents it fromlowering; this is a safety device in caseof impact. The adjustment is correct when theupper edge of the head restraint is level with the top of the head.Never drive with the head restraintsremoved; they must be in place andadjusted correctly.

Table position of the frontpassenger seat
Placing this seat in the table position, with the rear benchseat also in the table position, allows you to transpor t long objects. ) Push the control upwards and guide the seat back forwards to fold it onto the seat cushion.)
To put it back in place, lift up the seat back
and
guide it rear wards until it locks in. With the en
gine running, the front seats can be heated separately.)Use the adjustment dial, placed on the side
of each front seat, to switch on and select
the level of heating required:
0: Off. 1: Low. 2: Medium.3

: High.

Heated seats control

Do not forget to fold the "aircraft" type table fixed on the back of the seat first.
For safety reasons, a passenger sat inthe rear of the vehicle must not placehis feet on the front seat in the tableposition.

Rear seats Each section (1/3 - 2/3) can be adjusted individually.
Forwards and backwards adjustment

Adjusting the seat back
angle
)Raise the control and slide the seatforwards or backwards. The seat can be ad
justed to 2 different positions:


- a standard position,

- a comfort (inclined) position.
To a djust the seat back:)
Pull the control lever forwards.



Adjusting the head restraints

The 1/3 - 2/3 rear seat is fitted with head
restraints.
They have a high position (for comfor t andsafety) and a low position (for rear visibility).
They may be removed, as follows: )pull the head restraint upwards as far as possible,)then, press on the lug A.
When you are carrying rear passengers, never drive with the headrestraints removed. They must be secured in place in the high position.

Fully-folded position
)Move the corresponding front seat forward
if necessary. )Put the rear seat in the fully back position. )Place the head restraints in thelow position. )Pull control A, to release the seat back
which folds easily onto the seat cushion.
The seat fits into the floor, providing acontinuous level floor.
To put the seat back in position: )Pull the seat back backwards until it locks
in place.
)Return the seat cushion to the desired position.
When putting back in position, take care not to jam the seat belts.

Mirrors
The mirror glass is electrically adjustable.
A lamp located under the mirror shell provides
lighting for the driver's and front passenger'sentry and exit.
This exterior lighting comes on when the
vehicle is unlocked or a door is opened and
stays on for a timed period.


Folding
)From outside: lock the vehicle using the
remote control or the key. )From inside: with the ignition on, pull the control A
in the central position rearwards.


Unfolding
)From outside: unlock the vehicle using theremote control or the key. )From inside: with the ignition on, pull the control A
in the central position rear wards.


Adjustment
)
Move control Ato the right or to the left to select the corresponding mirror. )
Move control Bin all four directions toadjust. )
Return control Ato the central position.

If the mirrors are folded using control A
,they will not unfold when the vehicle is unlocked. Pull again on control A.

The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can bedeactivated by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
Never fold or unfold the electric foldingmirrors manually.
The objects obser ved are, in reality, closer than they appear.Take this into account in order to correctly judge the distance of vehicles
approaching from behind.

Rear view mirror
Adjustable mirror providing a central rearward view.
Equipped with an anti-dazzle system, which darkens the mirror glass and reduces the nuisance to
the driver caused by the sun, headlamps from other vehicles...








Steering wheel adjustment
)When stationary, pull the control lever to yrelease the adjustment mechanism.)
Adjust the height and reach to suit your
driving position.) Push the control lever to lock theadjustment mechanism.


As a safety measure, the mirrors should be adjusted to reduce the "blind spot".


As a safety precaution, these operations should only be carried out while the vehicle is stationary.
Automatic day/night model
By means of a sensor, which measures the light from the rear of the vehicle, this system automatically and progressively changes
between the day and night uses.
In order to ensure optimum visibility during your manoeuvres, the mirror lightens automatically when reverse gear is engaged.

Remote control key
System which permits central unlocking or locking of the vehicle using the lock or from a distance. It is also used to locate and start the vehicle, as well as providing protection against theft.
Unfolding the key
)First press this button to unfold the key.

Unlocking the vehicle
)
Press the open padlock to unlock
the vehicle.

Unlocking using the key
)
Turn the key to the left in the driver's door lock to unlock the vehicle.
Unlocking is confirmed by rapid flashing of
the direction indicators for approximately twoseconds.
According to version, the door mirrors unfold at
the same time.

)Press the closed padlock to lock
the vehicle.



Locking using the key
)
Turn the key to the right in the driver's door lock to lock the vehicle completely.


Locking using the remote control

If one of the doors or the boot is stillopen, the central locking does not takeplace.
When the vehicle is locked, if it isunlocked inadvertently, it will relock automatically after thir ty secondsunless a door or the boot is open.

The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can bedeactivated by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.
Lockin
g is confirmed by fixed lighting of
the direction indicators for approximatelytwo seconds.
According to version, the door mirrors fold at
the same time.

Locating your vehicle
)Press the closed padlock to locate your locked vehicle in a car park.
This is indicated by lighting of the cour tesylamps and flashing of the direction indicators for a few seconds.
Electronic engine immobiliser
The key contains an electronic chip which has a special code. When the ignition is switched
on, this code must be recognised in order for
starting to be possible.
This electronic engine immobiliser locks the
engine management system a few minutes after the ignition is switched off and prevents
starting of the engine by anyone who does not have the key.
Anti-theft protection
In the event of a fault, you are
informed by illumination of this
warning lamp, an audible signal
and a message in the screen.

Folding the key
)First press this button to fold the key.
If you do not press the button when foldingthe key, there is a risk of damage to themechanism.

Ignition switch



- Position 1: Stop

- Position 2: Ignition

- Position 3: Starting


Starting the vehicle

)
Inser t the key in the ignition switch.
The system recognises the star ting code.) Turn the key fully towards the dashboard toposition 3 (Starting).)
When the engine starts, release the key.
In this case,
your vehicle will not start; contact a CITROËN dealer as soon as possible.
Keep safely the label attached to the keys given
to you on acquisition of the vehicle.

Remote control problem
Following disconnection of the vehicle battery,replacement of the remote control battery or
in the event of a remote control malfunction,
you can no longer unlock, lock or locate your
vehicle. ) First of all, use the key in the lock to unlock or lock your vehicle.)
Then, reinitialise the remote control.
If the problem persists, contact a CITROËN
dealer as soon as possible.

Changing the battery

Battery ref.: CR1620 / 3 volts.
Reinitialisation
)
Switch off the ignition. )
Turn the key to position 2 (Ignition on).)
Press the closed padlock immediately for a few seconds. )
Switch off the ignition and remove the key from the ignition switch.
The remote control is fully operational again. I
f the battery is flat, you are
informed by illumination of
this warnin
g lamp, an audible signal and a message in the
multifunction screen.

)Unclip the casing using a coin at the notch. )Slide the flat battery out of its location.)Slide the new battery into its location

Do not attach any heavy objects to the key as this could weigh down on it when in the ignition switch and cause a fault.

If the key is left in the ignition switch, an audible signal sounds when the driver's door is opened.
