Operating fault
In the event of a fault with the system, the   symbol   in   the button   changes   to   alert m

ode   and   the   indicator   lamp   flashes   for   a
 f

ew   moments   then   stays   on   continuously.
If you press this button to reactivate the
system,  the   indicator   lamp   flashes   again   for   a  
f

ew   moments   and   then   stays   on   continuously.
In
 
certain
 
circumstances,
 
such
 
as
 
the
 
need
 
t

o
 
maintain
 
a
 
comfortable
 
temperature
 
in
 
the
 
p

assenger
 
compartment,
 
it
 
may
 
be
 
preferable

Deactivation
The Stop & Start system can be deactivated a
nd   manually   reactivated   in   the   touch   screen

When   the   system   is   deactivated,   the   indicator

amp   in   this   button   comes   on   continuously.
When
  the   system   is   reactivated   manually,   the

ndicator   lamp   in   this   button   goes   off.Have
  it   checked   by   a   CITROËN   dealer   or   a  q
ualified w orkshop.
In
  the   event   of   a   fault   in   STOP   mode,   the  
v

ehicle   may   stall.
All
  of   the   instrument   panel   warning   lamps

  on   version,   an   alert

essage   may   also   be   displayed,   asking

ou   to   change   to   neutral   (control   on   N)
and
  put   your   foot   on   the   brake   pedal.

Speed limiter
System which prevents the vehicle from exceeding the speed programmed by the driver.
The speed limiter cannot, in any circumstances, replace   the   need   to   observe   speed   limits,   nor   can   it r

eplace   the   need   for   vigilance   on   the   part   of   the   driver.

Cruise control
System which automatically maintains the speed of the vehicle at the value programmed by the driver, without any action on the accelerator pedal.
The cruise control system cannot, in any   circumstances,   replace   the   need   to o

  are   advised   to   keep   your   feet   near   the

Do not use the cruise control on
slippery

On a steep descent, the cruise control
will not be able to prevent the vehicle

On
  steep   climbs   or   when   towing,   the

rogrammed   speed   may   not   be   reached

r   maintained.
The

Once the speed of the vehicle returns

  the   programmed   speed   setting,   the

isplay   becomes   steady   again.
The cruise control is paused

r   by   pressing   the   brake   or   clutch   pedal

r   if   the   ESC   system   is   invoked   for

afety   reasons.

This system indicates the proximity of an obstacle   (pedestrian,   vehicle,   tree,   gate,   etc.)  
w

hich   comes   within   the   field   of   detection   of  
s

ensors   located   in   the   bumper.
Certain
  types   of   obstacle   (stake,   roadworks  
c

one,   etc.)   detected   initially   will   no   longer   be  
d

etected   at   the   end   of   the   manoeuvre,   if   they  
a

re   located   in   blind   spots   in   the   sensors'   field  
o

f   detection.
Parking sensors
This system  c annot  i n  a ny  c ircumstances  r eplace t
he   need   for   vigilance   on   the   part   of   the   driver.
The system is switched on by engaging reverse ge a r.
This
  is   confirmed   by   an   audible   signal.
The
  system   is   switched   off   when   you   come   out  
o

f   reverse   gear.
Audible assistance
The proximity information is given by an intermittent   audible   signal,   the   frequency   of   which i

ncreases   as   the   vehicle   approaches   the   obstacle.
The
  sound   emitted   by   the   speaker   (right   or   left)
 i

ndicates   the   side   on   which   the   obstacle   is   located.
When the distance between the vehicle and
the
  obstacle   becomes   less   than   approximately
 t

hirty   centimetres,   the   audible   signal   becomes
 c

ontinuous.
