MODUBOX (C4 PICASSO)
Equipment for use both inside the
vehicle and away from the vehicle.
It is composed of a shopping trol-
l e y a n d a ο¬ e x i b l e b a g ( i s o t h e r m o n
some versions) which can be used
independently of each other depen-
ding on your needs (by detaching
the fastenings on each side at the
top and bottom).
To use
ο Unhook the red strap to free the
Modubox.
ο Unhook the black strap then
press on the round buttons
on either side of the Modubox
simultaneously to deploy it. Use of the Modubox outside
the vehicle
Stowage inside the vehicle
ο Perform the operations in
reverse to fold and stow inside
the vehicle.
ο If you have used your Modubox
away from the vehicle, take care
to reposition it correctly in the
housings provided for this pur-
pose.
BAG HOOK
LUGGAGE-COVER BLIND (GRAND C4 PICASSO)
Position 1
5 - s e a t c o n ο¬ g u r a t i o n ; i n s t a l l e d b e -
hind the second-row seats, with the
third-row seats folded away.
ο Press on the recess on the left
hand side of the Modubox to
raise (or lower) the handle.
Located on the left-hand interior wall
of the boot, this permits the securing
of shopping bags.
Installing the roller
ο Position the left-hand end of the
blind roller in notch A .
ο Compress the right-hand end of
the roller and place it in notch B .
ο Unroll the blind until it reaches
the boot pillars.
ο Insert the guides of the blind into
the rails on the pillars.
Removing the roller
ο Perform these operations in re-
verse order.

avoid interference with the second-
row passengers when the seats
are in the "reclined" position.
ο Engage the lug on the left of the
roller in notch C .
ο Pass the right-hand side above
the third-row armrest.
ο Engage the lug in notch D .
ο Pull the seat belt(s) so that they
will deploy without locking.
ο Unroll the blind and engage the
guides into the rails on the pil-
lars.
ο Lock the seat(s) in position.
Installing the roller
ο Roll up the blind, then remove
the roller from its initial position.
ο Position the roller, with the blind
p u l l b a r u p p e r m o s t , ο¬ a p d o w n -
ward.
ο Fold the concertina boards.
Removing the roller
ο P u s h t h e ο¬ a p t o w a r d s t h e s e a t
backrest.
ο Lift the concertina board by grab-
bing it at the side, then position it
vertically.
ο Unlock the seat by pulling the
strap E .
ο Push the backrest towards the
front.
ο Proceed in reverse order to in-
stalling. Position 3

Installing the roller
ο Fold the concertina board.
ο Position the roller, with the blind
p u l l b a r u p p e r m o s t , ο¬ a p d o w n -
ward.
ο Engage the lug on the left of the
roller in notch C .
ο Pass the right-hand side above
the third-row armrest.
ο Engage the lug in notch D .
Removing the roller
ο Proceed in reverse order to in-
stalling.
Position 2
7 - s e a t c o n ο¬ g u r a t i o n ; i n s t a l l e d b e -
hind the third-row seats when these
are folded away. This position con-
ceals objects stowed in the boot
from outside view.
The blind can only be stored when
the seats are folded away.
You can position the concertina
board vertically to lodge a bulkier
object in the boot well.

HIGH CARGO NET (GRAND C4 PICASSO)
This enables you to maximise the
vehicle’s loadspace.
It retains objects, preventing them
from sliding towards the front of the
passenger compartment.
You insert it under the roller of the
luggage-cover blind, securing it
on the third-row side mouldings. Position 1

Installing the roller
ο Remove the protective covers
located under the blind roller
notches.
ο Position the roller under that of
the luggage-cover blind.
ο R a i s e t h e ο¬ a p o n t h e b l i n d , p o s i -
tioning it on top of the blind.
ο Deploy the net, passing it between
the rollers and the seats.
ο Pull the net upwards.
ο Anchor it to the roof by means of
t h e ο¬ x i n g p o i n t s ( a f t e r y o u h a v e
removed their covers).

ο Perform these operations in
reverse order. Position 2

LUGGAGE RETAINING NET (C4 PICASSO)
There are 8 anchoring rings in the
boot to enable you to secure your
luggage:
- 1, 2, 3 and 4 o n t h e b o o t ο¬ o o r ,
- 5, 6, 7 and 8 on the boot pillars.
LUGGAGE RETAINING NET (GRAND C4 PICASSO)
There are 8 anchoring rings in the
boot to enable you to secure your
luggage:
- 1 and 2 underneath the luggage-
cover blind,
- 3, 4, 7 and 8 o n t h e b o o t ο¬ o o r ,
- 5 and 6 on the boot pillars. For reasons of safety in the event of
sudden braking, it is recommended
that you place heavy objects on
t h e ο¬ o o r a s c l o s e a s p o s s i b l e t o
the backrests of the second-row
seats.
The luggage retaining net gives you
a n u m b e r o f c o n ο¬ g u r a t i o n s d e p e n -
ding on which of the anchoring rings
you attach it to (hammock format,
v e r t i c a l / h o r i z o n t a l , o n t h e ο¬ o o r o r
behind the second row seats),
enabling you to secure a variety of
objects in the boot.

TORCH
This is a removable light, incorpo-
rated in the boot wall, which can be
used to light the boot or as a torch.

The boot lamp
A comes on automat-
ically when the boot is opened and
switches off automatically when the
boot is closed.
Various lighting durations are avail-
able:
-
ignition off, approximately ten minutes,
- in energy economy mode, ap- proximately thirty seconds,
- engine running, no limit.
Operation of the torch
This torch operates with NiMH type
power packs.
It has an operating time of approxi-
mately 45 minutes and charges
while you are driving.
ο Extract the torch from its location
pulling it upwards, as indicated
by the arrow.
ο Press the switch B , located on
the back, to switch the torch on
or off.
ο Unfold the support C , located on
the back, to set down and raise
the torch; for example, when
changing a wheel.
Storing the torch
ο Put the torch back in place in its
location starting with the lower
part.
If you have forgotten to switch off the torch, this switches it off au-
tomatically.
O b s e r v e t h e p o l a r i t i e s w h e n ο¬ t t i n g
the accumulators.
Never replace the power packs
with batteries.
It the torch is not engaged correct-
ly, it may not charge and may not
come on when the boot is opened.
