Front passenger's airbag deactivationChild safety
In order to be able to use a rear-facing child seat in the front pas-senger's seat position, it is impera-tive to deactivate the passenger's airbag.

The front passenger's airbag deac-tivation warning lamp G lights up when the ignition is switched on.

You can activate/deactivate the parking assistance by pressing button B. When the parking assist-ance is inactive, the warning lamp on button B is lit up.
Parking assistance (visual and sound)Lane Departure Warning System
This device is designed for use on motorways and dual carriageways, and operates only at speeds above 80 km/h (50 mph).
A press on button C activates the function, the warning lamp on the button lights up.
Parking space sensor
You can select the “Parking Space Sensor” by pressing button A, which fl ashes when next to the space to be measured, with a speed lower than 20 km/h (12 mph) and at a distance of less than 1.5 m from the space.
The fi xed lighting of the warning lamp indicates that this function is selected.

Note: The system does not alert you if one of your direc-tion indicators is operating and for approx. 20 seconds after the direction indicator has stopped.

10. Refi t the rubber mat at the base of the armrest.11. Remove and store the block.
This strap cannot apply the park-ing brake.
To re-engage the electric park-ing brake (once the malfunc-tion or the fl at battery has been resolved), make a long pull on the control lever A until the parking brake warning lamp (!) fl ashes on the instrument panel then make a second long pull until this warning lamp remains lit permanently.
The time for applying the brake subsequent to the emergency unlocking will be longer.
While the parking brake has n o t b e e n r e - e n g a g e d ( f l a s h -ing then permanent lighting of warning lamp (!) on the instru-ment panel), you must keep the ignition switched off to avoid damaging it.
2. Fetch the vehicle block located in the boot.3. Immobilise the vehicle by plac-ing the block in front of or behind one of the rear wheels.4. Open the lower compartment of the central armrest by pulling upwards.5. Ensure that the cup-holder B is folded back.6. Remove the rubber mat cover-ing the base of the armrest.7. Disengage the strap from its location C.8. Pull the strap to unlock the brake. A loud click confi rms that the brake is unlocked.
Note: It is necessary to check that the parking brake warning lamp lights up on the instrument panel when the parking brake is applied.
Remark: Diagnostic socket in the armrest strengthener. Ensure that you do not allow any dusty or damp elements near the diagnos-tic socket D which is essential for the maintenance of your vehicle.

A
Locking/unlocking from the inside
With the doors and the boot closed, pressing button A allows you to control the electric central locking and unlocking.
It is still possible to open the doors from the inside.
If one of the doors is open or not properly closed, central locking will not work.

Anti-theft protection
On starting the vehicle, the system automatically locks the doors as soon as you reach approximately 10 km/h.
Note: If a door is opened, this will automatically lock itself again when the vehicle reaches approximately 10 km/h (6 mph).
Activation/Deactivation of the anti-intrusion protection
After switching on the ignition, make a long press on the central unlocking control until a message is displayed and a beep is heard.
Selection of doors / boot
After having selected “Plip action / Driver” in the “Vehicle parameters / Comfort” menu of the instrument panel screen.
Pressing the remote control unlocks the passenger door.
A 2nd successive press unlocks all of the doors and the boot.
If you decide to drive with the doors locked, remember that in the event of an accident this renders access more diffi -cult for the emergency services.
The warning lamp associated with the control A signals 3 statuses:lt fl ashes when the ignition key is in the stop position or when the key is not detected and the doors are locked.
It lights up when the vehi-cle is locked with the ignition switched on.It goes out when the doors are not locked.
Note: Control A is inactive if the vehicle has been locked using the remote control or the key.

Operating the air conditioning sys-tem on “AUTO” guarantees good ventilation inside the cabin.Note: The value indicated on the display corresponds to a comfort level and not to a temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Manual mode
One or more functions can be adjusted manually, while still retain-ing the other functions in automatic mode.
Press on any of the buttons, except for temperature 2a and 2b. Lights Aon buttons “AUTO” go out.
Changing to manual mode may result in a decrease in comfort level (temperature, humidity, smell, misting) and is not advised for opti-mum comfort.
To return to “AUTO” mode, press on buttons 1a and 1b. Lights Acome on.
3a-3b. Adjusting the air distribution
Press but-ton 3a to change the driver's side air fl ow distribu-tion.

The air fl ow level is indicated by the progressive lighting of the ventilator blades.
By reducing the air fl ow to its mini-mum setting, the air conditioning system switches itself off (OFF).
To prevent misting and poor air qual-ity in the passenger compartment, take care to maintain a suffi cient fl ow of air.
4. Adjusting the air fl ow
The air fl ow can only be adjusted with the engine running.
To adjust the air fl ow, press button:
to increase the air fl ow
to reduce the air fl ow
5. Air conditioning
Air conditioning only works with the engine running. The air blower button (air fl ow adjustment) must be activated to obtain air conditioning.Press on button 6. The warning lamp comes on.To function effi ciently, air conditioning should be used with the windows closed.
This button activates the recirculation of air in the passenger compart-ment and can function automatically.
6. Air recirculation – Entry of air from outside
Press button 3b to change the passenger's side air fl ow distri-bution.
The symbol (arrows) correspond-ing to the chosen distribution lights up:Windscreen and front windows.Front air vents (central, side and soft diffusion grille if open) and rear air vents.
Front and rear footwells.
Note: You cannot select distribu-tion to the windscreen/front win-dows and to the front/rear air vents at the same time.

With the engine off, programmable heating preheats the coolant cir-cuit in order to optimise the engine operating temperature prior to starting.
The programmable heating sys-tem can be started immediately or delayed thanks to its programming function.
Digital programmer
The heating system’s programmer is located on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
1. Time or remaining functioning time.
2. Increase (time).
3. Select programme.
4. Programme number selected.
5. Immediate start-up of heating.
6. Time adjustment and reading warning lamp.
7. Reduce (time).
8. Heating mode warning lamp.
9 Programmable heating system warning lamp.
LED lit : Activated.
LED off : Deactivated.

Immediate start-up
Press button 5.
The screen displays a default duration of 60 minutes, you are advised to adjust this to a duration of 30 minutes maximum (see section “ adjusting the operating duration ”). The warning lamp 8 lights up and remains lit for the whole duration of the system’s operation. The duration of the system’s operation disappears after 10 seconds.
Stopping the heating
Press button 5.
The warning lamp 8 and the screen go out.
With the engine idle or the vehicle stationary, it is nor-mal to hear a high-pitched whistling noise and to notice some smoke / emis-sions.

Selection and activation of a programmed time
Press button 3 until the programme number corresponding to the required programmed time is dis-played. The chosen pre-selected time is automatically activated after 10 seconds if no other but-tons have been pressed.
To confi rm that the mode is acti-vated, symbols 4 and 8 fl ash until the heating starts up.
When the heating starts up, the warning lamp 9 lights up on the dashboard and the programmer screen.

Adjusting the operating durationPress button 3 and hold it down. Press button 2 or 7 at the same time. Release button 3. The time and symbol 6 are displayed.Press again on button 3 and hold it down. Press button 2 or 7 at the same time. Release button 3. The operating duration and symbol 8 is displayed.Adjust the operating duration with button 2 or 7.
Note : The operating duration is memorised when the time indicated disappears or by pressing button 3.
Adjusting the remaining operating duration
When heating mode is activated, the remaining operating time can be modifi ed within the range of 10 to 60 minutes using buttons 2 or 7.
Note :The pre-selected start-up time can be modifi ed or cancelled by following the instructions previ-ously given above.
In the event of a battery discon-nection, the programmer must be re-set (hours, minutes etc.)


Always switch off the additional heating when filling up with fuel, to prevent any risk of fi re or explosion.
To avoid any risk of intoxica-tion or asphyxiation, the addi-tional heating must not be used, even for short periods, in an enclosed area such as a garage or workshop not equipped with a system for the extraction of exhaust gases.
Do not park the vehicle over infl ammable materials (e.g. dry grass, dead leaves or paper) as this could present a fi re risk.
The programmable heating sys-tem is supplied by the vehicle’s fuel tank. Before use, ensure that the remaining fuel level is suffi cient. If you are using the reserve fuel tank, we strongly advise you not to use the pro-grammable heating system.
