IITMC traffi c information consists of messages transmitted by FM radio stations. As opposed to the road information fl ashes broadcast by radio (TA), TMC (Traffi c Mes-sage Channel) messages are coded and silent. You can fi lter the types of information that interest you.Your NaviDrive issues messages written in the selected language (including in a foreign country where your language is not that of the local radio stations). The messages contain:The date and the time of the broadcastthe nature of the incidentthe locationthe namet h e d i r e c t i o n o f t r a f f i c o n t h e a r t e r y concerned.A message is sent when an event occurs. You are again informed of the event when you are coming into proximity. The messages are classed according to the distance of the event from your vehicle. The list of messages is updated every 15 minutes approximately.
