LATERAL AMBIANCE LIGHTING
This is in the zone designated by the arrows.
Adjustments
With the vehicle lamps on, press on buttons C or D to change the brightness of the lateral ambiance lighting.
FLOOR LIGHTING
In the front and the rear of the vehi-cle, when a door is opened, this lights up the interior of the vehicle.
Changing the bulb
To change the bulb for the fl oor lighting (front or rear): Detach the cover. Use a W 5 W bulb.
Rear
PAVEMENT LIGHTING
With the door open, this lights up the ground next to the vehicle.
Changing the bulb
To change the bulb for the door sill lighting: Detach the cover. Use a W 5 W bulb.

GLOVEBOX
To open the glovebox, pull on the handle and lower the lid.
The glovebox has three sock-ets A for connecting audio/video equipment.
Changing the bulb
To change the bulb in the glovebox lamp, detach the cover B, use a W 5 W bulb.
CUP-HOLDERS
To deploy the cup-holders, press on button C.
DRIVER'S ODDMENTS TRAY
To open the driver's oddments tray, pull the handle towards you.
While the vehicle is moving:The glovebox should remain closed.
The cup-holders should remain stowed

FRONT CENTRAL ODDMENTS TRAY
To open, press on the chrome of the central oddments tray.
REAR STORAGE
To open the storage tray, pull at the centre of the drawer.
SEAT POCKETS
There are pockets on the rear of the front seat backrests.

CIGAR-LIGHTER
Front cigar-lighter
The front cigar-lighter is on the central console.
Rear cigar-lighter
The two rear cigar-lighters are on the central console below the air vents.
Operation
The cigar lighter operates when the ignition is on.
Push in and wait a few moments. The cigar lighter will release auto-matically: gradually emerging for easy removal.Note: The cigar lighter makes use of the 12 V accessory socket.
Driver's fl oor mat
If taking out the fl oor mat on the driver's side, slide the seat rear-wards as far as it will go and remove the fi xings.
When refi tting, position the fl oor mat correctly on the pins, then attach the fi xings. Check that it is securely retained.
To avoid your feet becoming jammed under the pedals:Use only a fl oor mat that is suited to the fi xings, already present in the vehicle.
The use of these fi xings is essential.
Never fi t more than one fl oor mat superimposed.

ASHTRAY
Central front ashtray
To open it, press the fl ap at the centre.
To empty the ashtray, pull the assembly towards you.
Refi tting
Reposition the ashtray in its hous-ing, then press home.
Lateral ashtrays
Each passenger door has a lateral ashtray.
To open, lift the ashtray lid.
To empty a lateral ashtray, after opening, pull the inner section upwards.
Refi tting
Reposition the assembly in its housing, then press home.
HALF-MOON STORAGE POCKETS
Each of the doors has half-moon storage pockets in three compart-ments.
To access the half-moon storage, push the recess A downwards.
For automatic closing of this storage, press again on the recess A.

FRONT ARMREST
The armrest gives you extra com-fort in your driving position.
To optimise your driving position, lift the control B and push the arm-rest forwards.
The armrest returns to its initial position when you push it rear-wards.
Storage areas
Two formats of storage are available:To have big storage in the armrest, lift the control C.
For small storage in the armrest, lift the control A.

To prevent dazzle from ahead, fold the visor downwards.
They can be disengaged from their central fi xing and pivoted over to the side windows if required.
SUN VISOR WITH ILLUMINATED MIRROR
Illuminates automatically on opening the mirror cover fl ap (ignition on).
CARD-HOLDER
This is situated above the sun visor.
REAR BLIND
Take the blind by its grip and unroll it.
Engage the blind on the fi xings on each side of the third stoplamp.
BADGE READER
The athermic windscreen has a darkened area above the level of the interior rear view mirror, to per-mit the optical registering of access permits (e.g. motorway toll cards).

Glass sun roof
The sun roof is operated by the electrical control A.
An action to the fi rst notch of the control starts a movement which stops as soon as you release the control.
An action to the second notch of the control opens or closes the sun roof fully. A further action stops the movement.
ANTI-PINCH
An anti-pinch device is present to stop the sun roof from sliding shut. If it meets an obstacle it slides in the opposite direction.
After a battery disconnection or if there has been a malfunction, you have to re-initialise the anti-pinch function.
To do that, move the control A to the second notch to make the sun roof open fully, then keep the control A pressed for at least 1 seconds.
Warning: During this manœuvre, the anti-pinch does not operate.
Your vehicle's sun roof has a manually-operated blind.
Always remove the ignition key when leaving the vehicle, even if for a Short time.
In the event of anything being caught by the sun roof clos ing, you must reverse the roof movement.
To do that, reverse the position of the control concerned.
When the driver is operating the sun roof, he or she must always make sure that the passengers are not preven ting it from closing properly.
The driver must ensure that passengers use the sun roof control correctly.
PAY ESPECIAL ATTENTION TO WHERE CHILDREN ARE WHEN OPERATING THE SUN ROOF.

This operation should only be performed while the vehicle is stationary.
To release the bonnet, pull the con-trol located under the dashboard towards you.
Lift the lever A located under the bonnet close to the centre, then pull.
To close
Lower the bonnet carefully, then let it drop shut.
O P E N I N G T H E B O N N E T
Check that the bonnet is properly secured.
