OPERATION
When you engage reverse gear , a s o u n d s i g n a l c o n fi r m s t o y o u t h a t t h e s y s t e m i s a c t i v e . T h e o u t l i n e o f your vehicle appears on the screen. Note: If the vehicle has been running for long periods at very low speeds or at idle, vapour emissions may be seen coming from the exhaust under acceleration. These have no consequ ences for the running of the vehicle or for the environment.

LOCKING/UNLOCKING FROM THE INSIDE
A press on the control A operates the electric central locking and unlocking, provided all the doors are closed.
It is still possible to open the doors from the inside.
Remark: Control A is inactive if the vehicle has been locked using the remote control or the key.
The three statuses for locking/unlocking the vehicle are signalled by the warning lamp on the con-trol A: I t fl a s h e s w h e n t h e v e h i c l e i s locked, engine stopped.
It lights up when the ignition is switched on, vehicle locked.It goes out when the vehicle is unlocked.

To make it easier to open the doors, the windows automatically open by a few millimetres.Note: This movement occurs imme-diately you touch an interior door handle.
The window recloses, automati-cally adjusting for a perfect seal.
IMPORTANT
This function has no anti-pinch. Do not leave your hand on the window when you close the door.
Any interruption of your vehicle's electrical supply will prevent the windows from opening and closing correctly.
Remark: Travelling at high speed, closing of windows may be hinde-red by the aerodynamic pressure. Acoustic comfort may then be adversely affected.
ELECTRICALLY-CONTROLLED CHILD SAFETY
This deactivates the controls in the rear of the vehicle, both for the rear win-dows and for opening the rear doors from the inside.
For Pack Lounge seats, the seat slide adjustments, and those fo r the front seats from the rear of the vehicle, are also deactivated.
Activation
The electric safety device is activated by pressing the control A located on t h e w i n d o w s c o n t r o l p a n e l . A m e s s a g e a p p e a r s t o c o n fi r m t h a t t h e c h i l d safety is activated.
It is still possible to open the doors from the outside and to operate the electric windows from the front of the vehicle.
Before changing or repairing the battery, open all four windows.
If you unlock your vehicle using the key because of a problem with the battery, be aware that opening/closing a door wi th the window closed can seriously damage the glass, even to the point of breaking it.

BOOT
This can be unlocked, vehicle stopped:With either the remote control or the key.
Using the interior central unlocking button, or simply by opening a door.
Opening from the outside
Press upwards on the lever A.Note:In any event, as soon as the vehicle is moving at more than around 10 km/h (6 mph), the boot is locked.
When the vehicle is stationary, the boot unlocks when a door is opened or if the interior central locking/unlocking button is pressed.

AIR CONDITIONING
This system automatically adjusts the temperature, the fl o w o f a i r a n d t h e d i s t r i b u t i o n o f a i r i n s i d e t h e c a b i n , depending on your desired comfort level.
Provided you retain automatic mode (by pressing button "AUTO") and all the air vents are open, you will main-tain an optimum comfort level, also removing humidity and misting, whatever the ambient climatic conditions.
The temperature inside the cabin cannot be lower than the temperature outside if the air conditioning is not operating.
To be effective, the air conditioning should only be used with the windows closed. If after a lengthy stop in bright sunlight the interior temperature is excessive, air the passenger compartment by opening the windows for a few moments, then close them again.
To keep the air conditioning compressor well sealed, it is essential to operate the air conditioning at least once every month.
The air conditioning operates by using power from the engine. This results in a slight increase in fuel con-sumption.
Sensors
The automatic regulation of the air conditioning inside the cabin makes use of a number of sensors, relieving you of the need to make adjustments, other than the desired cabin temperature.
Take care not to obstruct sensor A.
Air inlet
Check that the exterior grille for the air inlet, at the bottom of the windscreen, is clean and free of dead leaves, snow, etc.
If washing the vehicle with a high pressure jet, avoid targeting the air inlet zone.
Air circulation
For your comfort we advise you to maintain a proper distribution of air within the cabin, both at the front and at the rear.
The air vents to the face have thumbwheels so that you can adjust the flow of air, and grilles to orient the direction.
T h e r e a r e a i r v e n t s o n t h e fl o o r u n d e r n e a t h t h e f r o n t seats and on the rear control panel, for enhanced heat-ing of the rear seat positions.
Do not obstruct the air outlets located in the boot area.
D u s t / p o l l e n fi l t e r
T h e r e i s a fi l t e r f o r e x c l u d i n g p o l l e n a n d d u s t .
This filter has to be changed according to the vehi cle maintenance schedule. See "Maintenance and Warranty Guide".

The system has a differentiated adjustment for the driver's side and passenger's side, in terms of temperature and a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n . T h e a i r fl o w i s c o m m o n t o b o t h s i d e s .
Symbols and messages relating to the automatic air conditioning controls will display on the multifunction screen.
2. TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the temperature, press button 2a for the driv-er's side and button 2b for the passenger's side.
An adjustment around 21 will give you the optimum comfort level. However, depending on your preferences anywhere between 18 and 24 is quite usual.
Operating the air conditioning system on "AUTO" guar-antees good ventilation inside the cabin.Note: there may be a difference between the actual c a b i n t e m p e r a t u r e a n d t h e fi g u r e d i s p l a y e d .
This is the normal operating mode for the system. Depending on the temperature chosen, a press on this b u t t o n , c o n fi r m e d b y t h e l i g h t i n g o f t h e w a r n i n g l a m p , will automatically and simultaneously bring all the fol-lowing functions into play: A i r fl o w .
Cabin temperature.
Air distribution.
Exterior air intake/Air recirculation.
It is recommended to keep all the air vents open. Just by pressing any of the buttons, except for tempera-ture 2a and 2b, you can change to manual mode. The warning lamp goes off, and the automatic air intake function is deactivated.

Remarks:When starting from cold, in order to prevent u n w a n t e d c o l d a i r , t h e a i r fl o w w i l l i n c r e a s e o n l y gradually to its optimum level.
If you enter the vehicle after a fairly prolonged stop and the temperature inside the vehicle is far from comfortable, it serves no purpose to modify the temperature that is displayed as an attempt to go immediately to the desired comfort level. The system automatically uses all of its power to compensate the temperature gap as quickly as possible.
Remarks:Water arising from the condensation in the air conditioning drains out through a hole provided for this purpose; a pool of water may thus form underneath the vehicle when stationary.
Whatever the time of year, even in cool weather the air conditioning is useful in removing humidity and misting.You are advised to have the air conditioning system checked on a regular basis. See "Maintenance and Warranty Guide".
If you are towing a heavy trailer and outside temperatures are high, the air conditioning may be temporarily paused if the engine cooling requires this.
