unlocking of the doors from the inside.
Manual centralised control

Locking
)Press button Ato lock the vehicle.
The red indicator lamp on the button comes on.
Unlocking
) Press button A
again to unlock the vehicle.
The red indicator lamp on the button
switches off.
If one of the doors is open, central locking from the inside does not take place.
If the vehicle is locked from the outside,the red indicator lamp flashes andbutton A
is inactive.
)In this case, use the remote control or the key to unlock the vehicle.




Automatic centralised
control

System which provides full automatic locking or unlocking of the doors and the boot while
driving.
You can activate or deactivate this function.


Locking

When the speed exceeds 6 mph (10 km/h), the doors and the boot lock automatically.

Unlocking
)
Above 6 mph (10 km/h), press button Ato unlock the doors and the boot
temporarily.


If one of the doors is open, theautomatic central locking does not take place.
If the boot is open, the automatic central locking of the doors is active.

)After unlocking the vehicle using theremote control or the key, pull the handleand raise the tailgate.
Closing
)
Lower the tailgate using the interior grab
handle.
If the tail
gate is not closed correctly:
-when the engine is running ,
this warning lamp comes on,
accompanied by a messageon the multifunction screen for a few seconds,
-when the vehicle is moving (speed above6 mph (10 km/h)), this warning lamp comes
on, accompanied by an audible signal and
a message on the multifunction screen for a few seconds.
System for mechanical unlocking of the boot
in the event of a battery or central locking
malfunction.

Fold back the rear benchseat to gainaccess to the lock from inside the boot.)
Insert a small screwdriver into hole Aof thelock to unlock the tailgate.

In this position, the cour tesy lamp comes on gradually:

- when the vehicle is unlocked,

- when the key is removed from the ignition,

- when a door is opened,

- when the remote control locking button is
activated, in order to locate your vehicle.
It switches off
gradually:


- when the vehicle is locked,

- when the ignition is switched on,

- 30 seconds after the last door is closed.

With the "permanent lighting" mode, theduration of lighting varies, depending on the circumstances: - with the ignition off, approximatelyten minutes,- in energy economy mode, approximately thirty seconds,- with the engine running, unlimited.

)Start the slave vehicle.)Operate the star ter of the broken down
vehicle and let the engine run.)Wait until the engine returns to idle anddisconnect the cables.

Charging the battery using
a battery charger

Batteries contain harmful substancessuch as sulphuric acid and lead. Theymust be disposed of in accordancewith regulations and must not, in anycircumstances, be discarded with household waste. Ta k e used remote control batteries andvehicle batteries to a special collectionpoint.

Follow the instructions for use provided bythe manufacturer of the charger.
Do not disconnect the battery tocharge it.
Do not push the vehicle to star tthe engine if your vehicle is fitted with an electronic gearbox.
