Exterior


Welcome lighting

This additional exterior and interior lighting, controlled remotely, makes your approach to
the vehicle easier when the light is poor.
Temporary puncture repair kit

This kit is a complete system, consisting of acompressor and a sealant car tridge, for the
temporary repair of a tyre.

Under-infl ation detection
This system continuously monitors the pressure
in each tyre and warns you in the event of a
puncture or under-inflated tyre.

Blind spot sensors
In cer tain conditions, this system
detects the presence of a vehicle in
the blind spot. It informs you by means
of a warning lamp in the corresponding door mirror.

Ignition switch

When switching the ignition on and off, thespeedometer needle, and the rev counter and fuel gauge bars go to the extent of their travel and then return to 0.

Starting
Your vehicle is fitted with a system whichholds your vehicle stationary momentarily,
the time to move your foot from the brake to
the accelerator, to help with movin
g off on a gradient.
This function is only active when:
- the vehicle is completely stationary withyour foot on the brake pedal,
- cer tain conditions of gradient are met,
- the driver's door is closed.

Anti-lock BrakingSystem (ABS) fixed. The anti-lock braking system has a fault. The vehicle retains conventional braking.
Drive carefully at reduced speed and contact aCITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop without delay.
Dynamic stabilitycontrol
(ESP/ASR)

flashing. The ESP/ASR regulation is active. The system optimises traction and improves the
directional stability of the vehicle.

fixed. Unless it has been deactivated (button
pressed and its indicator lamp on),
the ESP/ASR or hill start assist
system has a fault. Have it checked b
y a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
Engine
autodiagnosissystem

flashing. The engine management system has
a fault. Risk of destruction of the catal
ytic converter.

fixed. The emission control system has a fault. The warning lamp should go off when the engine is started.
If it does not go off, contact a CITROËN dealer or qualified
workshop without delay.



Low fuel levelfixed, accompanied by and audible signal anda message.Wh
en it first comes on there remainsapproximately 6 litresof fuel in the
tank.
At this point, you begin to use the fuel reserve.Re
fuel as soon as possible to avoid running out of fuel.Until sufficient fuel is added, this warning lamp willcome on every time the ignition is switched on,
accompanied by an audible signal and a message.
This audible signal and message are repeated with
increasing frequency as the fuel level drops towards "0".Fuel tank capacity: approximately 60 litres.Never continue to drive until you run out of fuel,
as this could damage the emission control and
injection systems.

Right-handdirection indicator

Sidelamps
fixed. The lighting control is in the"Sidelamps" position.
On vehicle where the daytime running lamps are deactivated,
if the lighting control is in the "AUTO" position, the sidelampscome on as a luminous signature of the vehicle.


Dipped beam headlamps
fixed. The lighting stalk is in the "Dipped beam
headlamps" position or in the "AUTO"
position in conditions of low li
ght.



Main beamheadlamps

fixed. The lighting stalk is pulled towards you. Pull the stalk again to return to dipped beam
headlamps.
Front foglamps
fixed. The front foglamps are switched on. Turn the ring on the stalk rear wards twice to switch off
the front foglamps.
Rear foglamps fixed. The rear foglamps are switched on. Turn the ring on the stalk rear wards to switch off the rear foglamps.
Hazard warninglamps flashing with audible
signal. The hazard warning lamps switch, located on the dashboard, has beenoperated. The le
ft-hand and right-hand direction indicators and
their associated indicator lamps flash simultaneously.
Operation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has come into operation.
It may be accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction screen.

Passenger'sairbag systemfixed in the instrument panel and/or seat beltand front passenger'sairbag warning lamps
display.
The control switch, located in theglove box, is set to the OFFposition.
The passenger's front airbag is deactivated.
Set the control to the "ON"
position to activate
the passenger's front airbag.
In this case, do not fit a child seat in the rear-facingposition.
Warning lampis onCauseAction/Observations
ESP/ASRfixed. The button, located at the bottom left of the dashboard, is pressed. Its
indicator lamp is on.
The ESP/ASR is deactivated.
ESP: electronic stability programme.
ASR: anti-slip regulation.Pr
ess the button to activate the ESP/ASR. Its indicator lamp goes off.
The ESP/ASR system is activated automatically when
the vehicle is started.
If deactivated, the system is reactivated automatically
from around 30 mph (50 km/h).
Deactivation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.
This is may be accompanied by an audible signal and a message on the multifunction screen.
