The

rise

fall

inlet
manifold
depression
causes
the
diaphragm

the
contact
breaker
plate
to
advance
or
retard
the
ignition
If
the
vacuum
control
unit
fails
to
function
correctly
a
check
can
be
carried
out
to
ensure
that
the
contact
breaker
plate
is
moving
freely
and
that
the
three
steel
balls
at
the
top

oottom
of
the
plate
are
adequately
lubricated
