Your vehicle has a multi-f unction
center console. It includes beverage
holders, storage compartments, an
armrest, a coin holder, and a storage
tray.To close, lower the armrest, and
push it down until it latches.
To open the f ront of the console
compartment, squeeze the knob, and
push it f orward. To close, squeeze
the knob and slide the cover
backward.
To open the rear of the console
compartment, pull up on the lever
and lift the armrest.

Be caref ul when you are using the
beverage holders. A spilled liquid
that is very hot can scald you or your
passengers. Liquid can also spill
f rom the door pocket beverage
holders when you open or close the
doors. Use only resealable
containers in the door pockets.
Spilled liquids can damage the
upholstery, carpeting, and electrical
components in the interior.
There is a removable partition in the
main compartment area. The
partition can be used to divide the
f orward compartment f rom the
beverage holder area, or can be
stored to the rear of the beverage
area to create a deeper storage tray.
The console f ront compartment has
a removable coin holder. Pull the
coin holder straight up to remove it.
To install it, push it down along the
guides on the side of the
compartment.

To open the compartment, pull the
lever and lif t the lid. To close, lower
the lid and push it down until it
latches.
The center seat-back in the second is
equippedwithanarmrestthat
provides the beverage holder. Pivot
down the seat-back to use them.
To open the beverage holder,
squeeze the knob, and slide the
cover f orward.

To open the sunglasses holder, push
on the f ront edge. Make sure the
holder is closed while you are driving.
Some larger styles of sunglasses
may not f it in the holder.
Each rear door has an integrated
sunshade. To use a sunshade, hold
the tab on the top, and pull the
sunshade all the way up. Insert the
holes on the sunshade into the hooks
on the window f rame.
Open the glove box by pulling up on
thehandle.Closeitwithafirmpush.
Lock or unlock the glove box with
the master key.
The glove box light comes on when
the parking lights are on.

To use the sun visor, pull it down.
Whenusingthesunvisorforthe
side window, remove the support rod
f rom the clip, and swing it out.
In this position, the sun visor can be
adjusted by moving it on its slider.
Do not use the extended sun visor
over the inside mirror.
Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the vehicle.
You may also store small items in
thisholder.Makesuretheyare
small enough to let the holder close
and latch, and that they are not
heavy enough to cause the holder to
pop open while driving.
The sunglasses holder uses a convex
mirror f or its bottom panel. You can
see all the vehicle passengers in this
mirror. To use the mirror, open the
sunglasses holder f ully, push it to the
f irst detent, and release it.On EX-L and Touring models

To use an accessory power socket,
the ignition switch must be in the
ACCESSORY (I) or ON (II) position.
Each socket is intended to supply
power f or 12 volt DC accessories
that are rated 120 watts or less (10
amps).
Your vehicle has a seat under tray
located under the f ront passenger
seat. Use the tray by pulling on the
f ront center edge of the tray.
Your vehicle has four accessory
power sockets. These are located on
the instrument panel, in the console
compartment, back of the center
console box, or behind the third row
seat on the passenger’s side.On Touring models

There is a 115 volt AC power outlet
inside the f ront console
compartment. To use the AC power
outlet, open the lids and open the
outlet cover. Insert the plug into the
receptacle slightly, turn it 90°
clockwise, then push in the plug all
the way.
None of the sockets will power an
automotive type cigarette lighter
element. Always run the engine when you use
the AC power outlet.
The maximum capacity f or this
power outlet is 115 volt AC at 100
watts or less. If you use an appliance
which requires more than 100 watts,
it automatically stops supplying the
power. If this happens, turn the
ignition switch of f and turn it on
again.

The AC power outlet is not
designed f or electric appliances
which require high initial peak
wattage such as cathode-ray tube
type televisions, ref rigerators,
electric pumps, etc. It is also not
suitable f or devices that process
precise data such as medical
equipment or measuring instruments.
Any appliances that require an
extremely stable power supply such
as microcomputer-controlled electric
blankets, touch sensor lamps, etc.,
should not be connected to this
outlet. The hooks on the f loor of the cargo
area enable you to tie down items
stored in the back. Make sure all
stored items are secured bef ore
driving. The cargo net will separate the
storage area into two storage areas.
On the upper area, you can store
small and light items. You should
place heavy items in the lower
storage area. You can remove the
cargo net and store it under the
cargo f loor to make a larger cargo
area.
