12. Connect the headlight bulb socket-connector.
13. Install the headlight bulb cover by turning it clockwise. Headlight (Low)
Follow the steps 1 to 6 from the pre-
vious page.
7. Remove the cover by turning it
counterclockwise.
8. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket
counterclockwise until the tabs on
the socket align with the slots on
the assembly.
9. Pull the bulb out of the socket.
10. Insert a new bulb into the socket.
11. Install the socket in the assembly by aligning the tabs on the sock-
et with the slots in the assembly.
Push the socket into the assem-
bly and turn the socket clockwise.
12. Install the headlight bulb cover by turning it clockwise.
✽ ✽NOTICE
Always have the headlight aiming
adjusted after an accident or the
headlight assembly is reinstalled at
an authorized HYUNDAI dealer.
Front turn signal bulb /
Position light
Follow the steps 1 to 6 from the pre-
vious page.
7. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket
counterclockwise until the tabs on
the socket align with the slots on the
assembly.
8. Remove the bulb from the socket by pressing it in and rotating it counter-
clockwise until the tabs on the bulb
align with the slots in the socket.
Pull the bulb out of the socket.
9. Insert a new bulb by inserting it into the socket and rotating it until it
locks into place.

10. Install the socket in the assembly
by aligning the tabs on the sock-

Push the socket into the assem-
bly and turn the socket clockwise.
11. Reinstall the light assembly to the body of the vehicle.

Front fog light (if equipped)
Follow the steps 1 to 6 from the pre-

7. Disconnect the power connectorfrom the socket.
8. Remove the bulb-socket from the housing by turning the socket
counter clockwise until the tabs on
the socket align with the slots on
the housing. 9. Install the new bulb-socket into the
housing by aligning the tabs on
the socket with the slots in the
housing. Push the socket into the
housing and turn the socket clock-
wise.
10. Connect the power connector to the socket.
Side repeater light bulb
replacement (if equipped)
If the light bulb is not operating, we
recommend that the vehicle be
checked by an authorized HYUNDAI
dealer.
✽ ✽NOTICE
A skilled technician should check or
repair the side repeater lamp.
Otherwise, it may damage related
parts (ex. outside mirror).

Rear combination light bulb
replacement
(1) Back-up light
(2) Tail light
(3) Rear turn signal light
(4) Stop/tail light
(5) Side marker
Outside light
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Disconnect the negative battery
cable.
3. Open the tailgate.
4. Loosen the light assembly retain- ing screws with a cross-tip screw-
driver.
5. Remove the rear combination light assembly from the body of the
vehicle. Rear turn signal light and stop/tail light
(Bulb type)
Follow the steps 1 to 5 from the pre-
vious page.
6. Remove the socket from the
assembly by turning the socket
counterclockwise until the tabs on
the socket align with the slots on
the assembly.
7. Remove the bulb from the socket by pressing it in and rotating it
counterclockwise until the tabs on
the bulb align with the slots in the
socket. Pull the bulb out of the
socket.

8. Insert a new bulb. 9. Install the socket in the assembly

Push the socket into the assembly
and turn the socket clockwise.
10. Reinstall the light assembly to the body of the vehicle.

Stop/tail light and rear side marker
(LED type, if equipped)
If the LED light does not operate,
have the vehicle checked by an
authorized HYUNDAI dealer.

NOTICE
A skilled technician should check or
repair the stop/tail and rear side
marker. Otherwise, it may damage
related parts of the vehicle.
Inside light
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Disconnect the negative battery
cable.
3. Open the tailgate.
4. Remove the service cover using a flat-blade screwdriver. Tail light
(Bulb type)
5. Remove the socket from the assembly by turning the socket
counterclockwise until the tabs on
the socket align with the slots on
the assembly.
6. Remove the bulb from the socket by pressing it in and rotating it
counterclockwise until the tabs on
the bulb align with the slots in the
socket. Pull the bulb out of the
socket.
7. Insert a new bulb by inserting it into the socket and rotating it until
it locks into place.

replacement
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Disconnect the negative battery
cable.
3. Open the tailgate.

4. Using a flat-blade screwdriver,
gently pry the tailgate upper trim. 5. Disconnect the connector(1) and
remove the washer hose(2) and
the plug holes(3). 6. Remove the mounting nuts.

7. Remove the rear spoiler assembly. 8. Remove the high mounted stoplamp after removing the mounting
nuts.
9. Install a new lamp
10. Reinstall the rear spoiler and the tailgate upper trim in the reverse
order.License plate light bulb
replacement
1. Turn off the engine.
2. Disconnect the negative batterycable.
3. Remove the cover by pressing it as direction of the arrows.
4. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
5. Install a new bulb.
6. Reinstall in the reverse order.

Interior light bulb replacement
1. Using a flat-blade screwdriver,
gently pry the lens from the interi-
or light housing.
2. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out.
3. Install a new bulb in the socket.
4. Align the lens tabs with the interior light housing notches and snap
the lens into place.
WARNING
Prior to working on the Interior
Lights, ensure that the “OFF”
button is depressed to avoid
burning your fingers or receiv-
ing an electric shock.
CAUTION
Use care not to dirty or damagelens, lens tab, and plastic hous-ings.
