1.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR SIGNAL
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Check voltage between BCM connector M20 terminals 65, 66 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 2
NO >> GO TO 3
2.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR HARNESS
1. Disconnect BCM and rear door lock actuator LH.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M20 terminals 65, 66 and rear door lock actuator LH connector (B) D205 terminals
2, 3.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace rear door lock actuator LH.
NO >> Repair or replace harness or passenger select unlock relay.
3.CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR HARNESS
1. Disconnect BCM and each door lock actuator.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector M20 terminals 65, 66 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace BCM. Refer to BCS-59, "Removal and Installation".
NO >> Repair or replace harness or passenger select unlock relay.

Locks/unlocks the door with the signal from BCM.

1.CHECK FUNCTION
1. Use CONSULT-III to perform Active Test "DOOR LOCK".
2. Touch “ALL LOCK” or “ALL UNLOCK” to check that it works normally.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Door lock actuator is OK.
NO >> Refer to DLK-90, "

Opening and closing the back door is accomplished through the back door control unit assembly. Refer to

PASSENGER SELECT UNLOCK RELAY

1.CHECK FUNCTION
1. Ensure "SELECTIVE UNLOCK FUNCTION" in WORK SUPPORT is enabled.
2. Use CONSULT-III to perform Active Test "DOOR LOCK".
3. Touch “ALL LOCK” or “ALL UNLOCK” to c heck that both rear doors work normally.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Passenger select unlock relay is OK.
NO >> Refer to DLK-93, "

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to DLK-157, "Wiring Diagram — POWER DOOR LOCK SYS-
TEM —".
1.CHECK PASSENGER SELECT UNLOCK RELAY CIRCUIT
NOTE:
Passenger select unlock relay must remain connected during this step.
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect BCM and inoperative rear door lock actuator.
3. Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M20 terminal 66 and rear door lock actuator LH connector (B) D205 terminal 2 or
rear door lock actuator RH connector (C) D305 Terminal 2.
4. Check continuity between BCM connector M20 terminal 66 and body ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4
NO >> GO TO 2
2.CHECK PASSENGER SELECT UNLOCK RELAY INPUT
1. Disconnect passenger select unlock relay.
2. Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M20 terminal 66 and passenger select unlock relay connector (B) M7 terminal 3.
3. Check continuity between BCM connector (A) M20 terminal 66 and body ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 3
NO >> Repair or replace harness between BCM and relay.
3.CHECK PASSENGER SELECT UNLOCK RELAY OUTPUT 66 - 2 : Continuity should exist.

PASSENGER SELECT UNLOCK RELAY
1. Check continuity between passenger select unlock relay con-
nector (A) M7 terminal 4 and rear door lock actuator LH connec-
tor (B) D205 terminal 2 or rear door lock actuator RH connector
(C) D305 terminal 2.
2. Check continuity between passenger select unlock relay con- nector (A) M7 terminal 4 and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace passenger select unlock relay.
NO >> Repair or replace harness between relay and actuator.
4.CHECK REAR DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY
1. Reconnect BCM.
2. Check voltage between rear door lock actuator connector LH (A) D205 terminals 2 and 3 or rear door lock actuator connector RH
(B) D305 terminals 2 and 3.
3. Check voltage between rear door lock actuator connector LH (A) D205 or rear door lock actuator connector RH (B) D305 termi-
nals 2 and 3.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> Replace rear door lock actuator.
NO >> Repair or replace harness between actuator and splice. 4 - 2
: Continuity should exist.
4 - Ground : Continuity should not exist.

2.CHECK HORN RELAY POWER SUPPLY
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Perform “ACTIVE TEST”, "HORN" with CONSULT-Ill.
3. Using an oscilloscope or analog voltmeter, check voltage between horn relay harness connector and ground.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >> GO TO 4
NO >> GO TO 3

Hydraulic Control Circuits
TRANSFER CONTROL UNIT
• Transfer control unit controls transfer control dev
ice and it directs shifts from 4H-4LO and 2WD-4WD.
• Self-diagnosis can be done.
TRANSFER SHIFT HIGH AND LOW RELAYS
Transfer shift high and low relays apply power supply to transfer control device (actuator motor).
TRANSFER SHUT OFF RELAY
Transfer shut off relay applies power supply to transfer motor relay.
4WD SHIFT SWITCH AND INDICATOR LAMPS
4WD Shift Switch
Able to select from 2WD, AUTO, 4H or 4LO.
4WD Shift Indicator Lamp
• Displays driving conditions selected by 4WD shift switch with 2WD, AUTO and 4H indicators while engine is running. (When 4WD warning lamp is turned on, all 4WD shift indicator lamps are turned off.)
• Turns ON for approximately 1 second when ignition switch is turned ON, for purpose of lamp check.
