A remote controller is provided with the
Mobile Entertainment System.
The remote controller is for the rear display
operation and cannot be used to control
portable devices.

Push to display the HOME screen.
Select the media from the DVD (if so equipped), AUX (if so equipped), USB

Use the remote controller and take the
following steps to operate the rear displays
in the rear seats:
1. Turn on the rear displays using<
>on
the remote controller.
2. Push <HOME> and select a source from
the DVD (if so equipped), AUX (if so
equipped), USB or HDMI interface
devices.
When USB is selected for the first time
after the USB memory device is con-
nected, select a file you with to play from
the File Browser screen.
Menus
Push <MENU> on the remote controller to
display the operation screen for the source
that is playing. Select and adjust the
preferred items using the Select buttons
and <ENTER> on the remote controller. The
available menu items differ depending on the
selected source.
Available menu items:

When this item is turned on, the audio of
the source playing on the corresponding
rear display will be output to the vehicle
speakers. .
[Top Menu] (DVD only)
Select to display the top menu screen.
. [Title Menu] (DVD only)
Menus specific to each disc will be
shown. For details, see the instructions
attached to the disc.
. [Title Search] (DVD only)
A scene that belongs to a specified title
will be displayed each time [+] side or [—]
side is selected.
. [10key Search] (DVD only)
Select [10key Search] and push
<ENTER> to open the number entry
screen. Enter the number you want to
search for and select [OK] with the
remote controller. The selected Title/
Chapter will be played.
. [Audio] (DVD, USB (DivX) only)
Select a preferred language for the audio
output.
. [Subtitle] (DVD, USB (DivX) only)
Choose the preferred subtitle language
setting.
. [Angle] (DVD only)
If the DVD contains data of different
angles, the angle of the image can be changed.
. [File Browser] (USB only)
The data contained in the USB can be
browsed. The tracks are automatically
categorized by playlists, songs, artists,
composers, genres, etc.

Select a preferred play mode from
[Normal]/[Repeat]/[Shuffle].
. [Aspect Ratio]
Aspect can be selected from Normal,
Wide, Cinema and Full.
. [Select No.] (Video-CD only)
Select a section number you wish to play.
SETTING AND INFORMATION
Various settings for the Mobile Entertain-
ment System such as aspect ratio, language,
etc. can be changed on the rear displays.
Push <SET UP> on the remote controller and
select the preferred item to change the rear
display settings and to view the system
information.

Rate Wideband (AMR-WB) or HD voice
technology. The performance of AMR-
WB may vary by carrier and calling area.
Consult your cellular phone carrier if you
experience issues with call quality or

. Immediately after the ignition switch is
turned ON, it may be impossible to
receive a call for a short period of time.
. Do not place the cellular phone in an area
surrounded by metal or far away from
the in-vehicle phone module to prevent
tone quality degradation and wireless

through the Bluetooth® wireless con-
nection, the battery of the cellular phone
may discharge quicker than usual.

may cause interference or a buzzing
noise to be emitted from the audio system speakers. Storing the device in a

the telephone pairing procedure specific
to your phone, battery charging and
cellular phone antenna, etc.
. The antenna display on the monitor may
not match the antenna display of some
cellular phones.
. The battery display on the monitor may
not match the battery display of some
cellular phones.
. Keep the interior of the vehicle as quiet
as possible to her the caller’s voice clearly
as well as to minimize echoes.
. If reception between callers is unclear,
adjusting the incoming or outgoing call
volume may improve the clarity.

The information screen sets or displays various information that is helpful for using the vehicle.
Available setting items may vary depending on models and specifications.

The average for the Reset-to-Reset period is stored as a fuel economy history.

[Maintenance] [Engine Oil] The maintenance intervals can be displayed for the engine oil, oil filter, tire and
other reminders.
The following settings are available for each maintenance item.
[Distance]: Set the interval (mileage) of the maintenance schedule.
[Reset Distance]: Reset the driving distance to the new maintenance schedule.
[Reminder]: Displays the reminder automatically when the set distance is
reached.
