When trouble arises
(If equipped)
Indicates that the radar cruise control sensor is dirty or
covered with ice A buzzer also sounds.
→ Clean the sensor.
(If equipped)
Indicates that the dynamic radar cruise control system is
unable to judge vehicle-to-vehicle distance
A buzzer also sounds.
→ If the windshield wipers are on, turn them off or set
them to either intermittent or slow mode.
(If equipped)
Indicates a malfunction in:
• The cruise control system; or
• The dynamic radar cruise control system
Press the “ON-OFF” button once to deactivate the
system, and then press the button again to reactivate
the system.
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Lexus
dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and
equipped professional.

ACCESSORY mode and the driver’s door is opened
while the lights are turned on

→ Turn the lights off.

Indicates that the moon roof is not fully closed (with the
power switch off, and the driver’s door open)
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Close the moon roof.
Indicates that the hybrid system has overheated
This message may be displayed when driving under
severe operating conditions. (For example, when driv-
ing up a long steep hill.)

Indicates a malfunction in the LED headlight system
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Have the vehicle inspected by any authorized Lexus
dealer or repairer, or another duly qualified and
equipped professional.
Indicates that the washer fluid level is low
→Add washer fluid.
(If equipped)
Indicates that the pre-crash safety system is not currently
functional because the grille cover or the sensor is dirty
This message also appears when the pre-crash safety
system is not functional due to overheating.
→ Check the grille cover and the sensor and clean
them if they are dirty.
In case of overheating, the system will become func-
tional once the system cools down.
Indicates that the EV drive mode is not available*The reason the EV drive mode is not available (the
vehicle is idling, battery charge is low, speed is higher
than the EV drive mode operating speed range, accel-
erator pedal is depressed too much) may be dis-
played.
A buzzer also sounds.
→ Use the EV drive mode when it becomes available.

■Warning message in radar cruise mode (if equipped)
In the following situations, the warning messag e may not be displayed even if vehicle-to-
vehicle distance decreases:
●When your vehicle and the vehicle ahead are traveling at the same speed or the vehicle
ahead is traveling more quickly than your vehicle
●When the vehicle ahead is traveling at a very low speed
●Immediately after cruise control speed is set
●At the instant the accelerator pedal is depressed

→ To turn off the hybrid system,
first shift the shift position to P
and then turn the power switch
off.

doors using the smart entry &
start system while the electronic
key was still inside the vehicle.
• An attempt was made to lock either front door by opening a
door and putting the inside lock
button into the lock position, then
closing the door by pulling on the
outside door handle with the elec-
tronic key still inside the vehicle.
→ Retrieve the electronic key
from the vehicle and lock the
doors again.

• When the doors were unlocked
with the mechanical key and then
the power switch was pressed, the
electronic key could not be

put in ACCESSORY mode twice
without the hybrid system being
started.
→ Press the power switch while
depressing the brake pedal.
During a hybrid system starting pro-
cedure in the event that the elec-
tronic key was not functioning
properly ( →P. 565), the power
switch was touched with the elec-
tronic key.
→ Press the power switch within 10
seconds of the buzzer sounding.

If you have a flat tire (vehicles with a spare tire)
●Stop the vehicle on a hard, flat surface.
●Set the parking brake.
●Shift the shift position to P.
●Stop the hybrid system.
●Turn on the emergency flashers. ( →P. 5 0 8 )
Your vehicle is equipped with a spare tire. The flat tire can be replaced with
the spare tire.

■If you have a flat tire
Do not continue driving with a flat tire.
Driving even a short distance with a flat tire can damage the tire and the wheel beyond
repair, which could result in an accident.
