“PWR·VOL” knob: Press to turn the
audio/visual system on and off. The sys-
tem turns on in the last mode used.
Turn this knob to adjust the volume.
 A function that enables automatic
return to the previous screen from

This section describes some of the
basic features of the audio/visual
system. Some information may not
pertain to your system.
Your audio/visual system works
when the engine switch <power
switch> is in ACCESSORY or
IGNITION ON mode <ON mode>.
NOTICE
●To prevent the 12-volt battery from
being discharged, do not leave the audio/visual system on longer than necessary when the engine is not run-
ning <the hybrid system is not operat- ing>.

There are 2 USB ports and an AUX
port in the console box.

How good an audio program sounds is
largely determined by the mix of the
treble, mid and bass levels. In fact, dif-
ferent kinds of music and vocal pro-
grams usually sound better with
different mixes of treble, mid and bass.

pitched tones.
Select “+” or “-” to adjust low-

■Fader/Balance
A good balance of the left and right
stereo channels and of the front and
rear sound levels is also important.
Keep in mind that when listening to a
stereo recording or broadcast, chang-
ing the right/left balance will increase
the volume of 1 group of sounds while
decreasing the volume of another.

select the desired item to be set.

●If the signal becomes weak, the radio
reduces the amount of channel separa- tion to prevent the weak signal from cre-ating noise. If the signal becomes
extremely weak, the radio switches from stereo to mono reception.
Up to 6 preset stations can be regis-
tered.
1 Tune in the desired station.

6) and hold it until a beep is heard.
 The station’s frequency will be dis-

■AF (Alternative frequency) func-
tion
A station providing good reception is
automatically selected if current
reception worsens.
■TA (Traffic announcement) func-
tion
The tuner will automatically seek a sta-
tion that regularly broadcasts traffic
information and the station broadcasts
when the traffic information program
starts.
1 A pop-up message is displayed on
the screen when the radio seeks
out a TP station.
2 Select “Continue”.
●When “FM traffic announcement” is set to “On” ( P.149), the radio will begin
seeking a TP station.
●When the program ends , the initial oper-
ation resumes.

Select “Broadcaster” or “Alphabet-
ical” to set the listing order of the
station list.
The tuner will automatically seek a
station that regularly broadcasts
traffic information and the station
broadcasts when the traffic infor-
mation program starts.
A station providing good reception
is automatically selected if current
reception worsens.
Select to switch to a broadcasting
station within the same local pro-
gram network.
Select on/off to set the FM radio
text feature.
DAB
Select on/off to set L-band in the
tune range. When “Off” is selected,
the physical channel range for tun-
ing operations is limited to Band III,
excluding for preset operations.
When “On” is selected, the physical
channel range fo r tuning opera-
tions includes Band III and L-band.
The tuner will automatically seek a
station that regularly broadcasts
traffic information and the station
broadcasts when the traffic infor-
mation program starts.
A station providing good reception
is automatically selected if current
reception worsens.
Select on/off to set the DAB text
feature.
The service you are currently listening
to can be re-listened to at any time.
